Ok, so I recieved my PS-new from the HighIsland Health, Aneros sister company, based on their recommendations because of my height of 6'3" and slender build. This is the exact same model as the Aneros Classic. I tried it out today and was afraid it might be too big but after a couple of hours and following instructions, I found it really isn't big enough to hit my prostate. I could manually hit it manipulating with my hands so I figured maybe it wasn't big enough after all, so I ordered the progasm. Did I jump the gun or should I have tried a couple of more sessions? Apparently my prostate is further up than most guys.
Thanks

Hi oldmanfrom1960,

Welcome to the Aneros Forums, your best source of information for learning about the multiple benefits and joys of using the Aneros prostate massagers. There is a wealth of information to be obtained on this website. Hopefully, you will be able to avail yourself of this knowledge by tapping these resources.

A common lament from new Aneros users is the belief their prostate is not being massaged/touched because their new massager is not big enough or long enough. While it is possible your prostate is located outside the "average" range, most of the time this is not true. In many cases it is a matter of fine tuning your awareness to start picking up the subtle sensations emanating from your prostate. For some men this occurs rapidly and they progress quickly toward their Super-O's, for other men this learning process may take much longer in order to awaken their prostate and come into attunement. This is a process that can not be forced or hurried along but you can facilitate the learning process by having an open mind, willingness to experiment with various techniques, patience and no expectations.

You didn't mention what body position you were in. Your body position does have an effect on the intensity of sensations you will feel. Our internal organs are basically suspended and loosely held in place by the pelvic floor muscles. To a certain extent they have some range of movement within the fluidity of the abdominal cavity and having mass are subject to the force of gravity. By shifting your body into different positions you are altering in slight ways the interaction of your Aneros with your internal organs as they move inside your abdomen. You will probably find that certain Body Positions put your Aneros in a more favorable position with respect to your prostate than other positions. I would suggest you try some of these other positions before assuming your prostate is abnormally high in its location.

I followed the directions and was on my side with upper leg bent to my chest with lower leg straight. I reversed this position and also tried on my stomach. I also noticed the p-tab was digging in too hard while I was contracting my muscles according to the directions, but I have since read another post about putting something on it to cushion it so I may try that next time.

Hi 'OMF60s' and welcome,

Sounds like a good plan! Please read the Wiki which is an excellent source for many more details and tips from the 'giants' that have refined our practices..

An excellent pad during my first three months involved just slipping a medicine dropper bulb over the p-tab. This will help with two issues. 1), The p-tab pressure will be distributed and the tab won't be as noticeable. 2) It will move the pivot point downward and tilt the Aneros forward inside your bod. That might improve prostate contact.

As you muscle-up over the next three months the need for this padding will go away. If you haven't done Kegel exercises, suggest giving those a try. Should improve the muscle tone in your pelvic floor. hth

Yeah, I used the cut finger of a dishwashing glove for the first couple months, but now no longer need it at all. So you've got the right idea at this outset.
