New to Aneros. What was this?

OK my question is for my second session, but a little background first. So I am new to Aneros, prostate massaging, and anal stimulation in general. Never really tried much there, maybe just a finger. I've read about Aneros before and finally took the plunge and ordered the Helix. I got it three days ago and have tried it out twice already. I should mention that I have been abstaining from masturbation for the past two weeks or so for a different reason, so I figured now is a good time to try the Helix. (I am still abstaining and haven't ejaculated at the time of this post) Both times I had an erection and was pre-cuming from start to finish and did not stimulate my penis at all.

I hadn't planned to have a session the same day I got it since I didn't have much time, but I really wanted to try it so I went number 2, used a rectal syringe to clean out, pre-lubed and slipped it in. I lay on my bed with my legs straight out. I took the advice of doing nothing for the first 10 minutes or so to get used to the Helix, but I can't say that I have any problems in that department so far. Hasn't felt uncomfortable in there, although it was a little difficult getting in and out since I have never stuck anything in there I guess. Tried some breathing and contractions like suggested, didn't really get anywhere. Actually I had a little trouble with breathing and contractions in sync. (I feel like my deep breathing leads to hyperventilation, which makes it hard to concentrate on the contractions) Can't say that I felt any discomfort during the session though, but I did feel a sort of pleasurable throbbing in the pelvic region? Maybe my prostate? I haven't been able to pinpoint feelings my prostate gives yet. Anyway, I had to be somewhere so I cut the session after an hour.

So I put a day between my last session and tried it out again today, this time with plenty of time ahead of me. In the meantime I had read up more on arousal and preparation. Took a number 2 again, cleaned out, took a nice hot shower. I got my things set up, looked at some erotica, pre-lubed then slipped the Helix in. This time I lay on my bed with my knees up and my feet flat. Within the first 15 minutes or so, I felt a slight trembling in my thighs but didn't think much of it. Before the first half hour, my legs (mostly from my thighs) began trembling hard. My pelvic region also began trembling. I tried not to have expectations that it would lead to a super-o. The rest of the session pretty much went the same on and off, with my legs and pelvic region shaking, but not much pleasure. When I tried some different positions, I didn't get the same shaking though. Figuring the trembling was a good thing since I had seen some videos online like that, I stuck with the knees bent position. I'm not really sure if I ever got the anal contractions down right through the session though. I had originally planned this session to be about an hour and a half, but it ended up being around about an hour and forty-five minutes since I started to get some results toward the end.

This is where my question comes into play: In the midst of the trembling, at one point toward the end I found myself doing valley breathing (unplanned) and felt what I assume to be p-waves. (It felt good) My penis began contracting and it felt great, almost like an orgasm but not quite, and I also have what I believe were hard involuntary anal contractions at the same time as the penile contractions. (in sync) Nothing came out of the penis though. (Well except for pre-cum that was already coming out throughout the session) Now I have looked at descriptions of dry orgasms, mini-o's, etc. but I'm not sure exactly what I experienced? Any thoughts on what it might have been based on the description?

I'm looking forward to my next session, but think I may put some more time in between first so I don't push myself. I actually feel some soreness in my thigh muscles, but hey I'm not complaining if it means I am on the right path! 😀

everything you have described sounds normal to me, as for what you experienced, its hard to say. In the beginning there will be lots of things going on and feeling that will be hard to understand or describe, just go with it and the pleasureable feelings flow. Eventually as time goes on and you have a few months of use under your belt things will start to make sense. my only advice, since your new, is I know that we are all here for the super O, but its important to not let that overshadow all of the other pleasureable feelings going on during a session no matter how small they may seem.

LPW,

Kudo's to you for doing your research prior starting this journey. Everything you have described in your preparation sounds very good. I do have some minor suggestions to make.Actually I had a little trouble with breathing and contractions in sync. (I feel like my deep breathing leads to hyperventilation, which makes it hard to concentrate on the contractions)Slow deep breathing should not lead to hyperventilation, if you start to feel light headed, you are breathing to rapidly, slow it down. Your breathing does not need to coincide or be in sync with your contractions. Your focus of attention needs to be on detecting and enjoying your body's reactions to the contractions you are performing, your attention should not be focused on the contractions themselves. Obviously you do have to think about them to perform them to begin with but you want to let them become automatic for you so your focused attention can observe the effects.
I felt a slight trembling in my thighs but didn't think much of it.Please do not discount these early feelings and sensations, these may not seem significant when compared to traditional masturbatory sensations but they are the building blocks which the prostate uses to build pleasure. Become familiar with them, acknowledge these litlle tingles, blips and fussings, they are your children sensations and you want to encourage them to mature and grow into the robust P-waves of adulthood (which you already acknowledge having). Let them come and go as the playful energies they are, you can not command them to act or play for your benefit but you can encourage them to stick around with your intent. The rest of the session pretty much went the same on and off, with my legs and pelvic region shaking, but not much pleasure.Personally, in my early sessions, I too did not find the trembling, shaking muscle spasms to be pleasurable but I knew they confirmed for me the Aneros was working. I quickly discovered these were being caused by retained stress/tension in my body muscles being stimulated by my Aneros, when I learned to really relax those other muscles the trembling/shaking went away. Now I can tell when I'm building up that muscular tension when the tendency to tremble emerges, I simply tell my muscles to relax through it and let the pleasure flow, it usually works well.My penis began contracting and it felt great, almost like an orgasm but not quite, and I also have what I believe were hard involuntary anal contractions at the same time as the penile contractions. (in sync) Nothing came out of the penis
Congratulations, you just described a classic dry-Orgasm. I would venture to say your journey to the Super-O will be a short one, just keep doing what you are doing.
Good Vibes to You !

Thanks for all the support guys! Since this post, I have been experimenting on and off with Aneros, taking it slow. I think I am on a good path though.
