I'm glad to hear that you have made some exciting progress in your journey. The Helix blew my mind also, among other things after getting good results from MGX. The more I hear about people liking the Hypnaerosession CD, the more I consider it's purchase. Tell me, do you listen to it from speakers, or do you wear headphones? I ask because if I buy it, I think that I will need to use headphones as I have neighbors around me(apartment complex). But I feel like they will get in the way and the cord will get tangled and pulled on as I convulse in pleasure. What works for you?

Unlike yourself, I am a newbie to anal play prior to first trying the Aneros devices. I still have some difficulty trying to relax enough while inserting the MGX, and more so the Helix. So the size of the Progasm definitely scares me also.

I don't own a Progasm yet, but like yourself I have read all the positive reviews about it. And it looks interesting, but my feeling is that it won't necessarily get you to super-O's any quicker than your Helix or MGX. Of course that decision is entirely yours to make. And I suspect using a new model can sometimes adds just enough excitement to a session to bring you a little further in your journey.

What do you Progasm owners think?

I've been using headphones with the Hypnaerosession CD and i would highly recommend their use if you can.

Welcome to the Forum, you are among friends here.

Based upon your brief description, I believe you will find the Progasm to be a very nice new toy to play with. While it is larger than any of the other Aneros models, it is not as intimidating as you may imagine. BTW, thanks for the CD endorsement.

“HypnAerosession” was specifically created to be used with headphones. In order to get the full effect of the brain wave entrainment tones you need the distinct left/right audio channels being piped directly into your left and right ears.
Personally, I use a Sony ‘Walkman’ mp3 player with small ear hugging ear buds for my audio sessions, it’s minimally intrusive to movements during a session. Wireless headsets will also work well, but their bulk can be a minor problem if you are trying to lie on your side with your head on a pillow.

Nice Epicurien! I'll be curious to read about your thoughts on how it works for you. As I'm thinking my next Aneros purchase down the road a bit might be the Peridise, or possibly the Progasm.

Wireless headphones had occurred to me. But they would have to be low profile ear buds as I'm laying on my side the majority of the time during my Aneros sessions. Right now, the monetary investment to make that happen is not available. That's kind of why I was asking about what type of headphone style is being used, as I have some pretty nice sounding Grado Labs circumaural headphones. But I can't use them as long as laying on my side is the best position for me.

Thank you for chiming in with good information. I had no idea that headphones were required. Are you able to lay on your side while wearing your ear buds with no discomfort?

I don't have much problem with ear phones, as I usually am on my back!

I use Sony sports phones (MDR-G57) that wrap around the back of your
head, instead of over the top.

Any way, I just wanted to add that I also use a sleep mask, which helps
me to darken the room more and aids in my visualizations.
(WalMart for about $3)

Took me a while to get used to the size of the Progasm, but with using it
regularly, your body will adjust to accommodate it. (Just insert it very slowly
and take your time putting it in!)

The mgx has always been my favorite - I own the helix as well. I did purchase the progasm a while back and recall when I opened the package..... holy shit that' big! but I will have to say that the progasm is now my favorite model. I usually start with the mgx, but when I switch to the progasm I always get one hell of a buzz. I can really feel the size of the progasm in place and do love the fullness that it provides.
I am yet to get a super O but feel that the progasm is the one that will do it for me. I would not be put off by its size. I am not a big guy (150 lbs) and for me it is no problem, in fact I feel the size of it is what I like about it.

Ok, received my package yesterday. I got a chance to try the Progasm last night, but unfortunately, i did not even manage to get it in. It is indeed really big, and i felt some pain trying to insert it even though i used lots of lubricant so i just put it aside and will give it another try later, maybe tonight if I get the chance.

Can't wait to get the feel of it though.

Congrats on receiving your new Progasm.

You might try starting your session with the MGX. Once your anus is completely relaxed with it, remove it and try inserting the Progasm. I do this with my MGX and Helix, as the Helix is larger enough in diameter to be a little difficult for me to start with. Keep in mind also that if you are experiencing pain or lots of discomfort inserting it, then your anus muscles are probably not relaxed enough. I've learned this the hard way.

Just take it slow, you don't want to tear anything down there... You will get use to it!
Try and relax as much as possible, and don't clinch, relax you butt when trying to insert. actually push down just slightly like you are going to take a dump... Insert a little at a time

You can also use your finger before hand to "play" with the anus. Put some lube on your finger and gently slid it in, and around your anus. Make sure you have plenty of lube on the Progasm before trying to insert.

I bought a Helix Classic some years ago and didnt achieve any success after 12 months.And so it ended up in the bottom of the draw and then later in the bin.
