New but started out with Progasm

Honest - I did not know enough to know it was the largest.
I had been experimenting a little with another toy or simply a gloved finger, then my wife and I had a thought to look at a few toys, naturally by then I was interested in toys of the anal type.
So here I am with the Progasm. At 50, I started looking into the prostate gland for the 1st time in my life and lo and behold, I learned about such things as the male g-spot.
By the way I just had it checked, it is healthy, I wish we all were.
I have been using my Progasm for only 3 weeks so far. My sessions are under 45 minutes - mostly due to my schedule at the moment. I hope to gain more time for sure when I can. I think I have had 1 or 2 mini-Os, I couldn't say for sure since I am new to this.
I would relax with it in, it would almost feel like it slipped out a little, then I would pull it in and press on my groin (no direct penis contact). This would give me a warm wave feeling for 30 secs or so - really nice.
I have read a lot of the things written here in the last few weeks - I thank you all for the information!
I think I will get the helix when I can find it - I can buy it nearby at a store, as it turns out.
I bought another smaller massager since then, but I use it only as a starter - I always look forward to using the progasm after that.
For what's it's worth - what I found that works for removing it is to pull slightly on it and gradually remove it. I let my schpinter muscles tell me when it's OK to pull it a little more out. Applying a little inward pressure like I was inserting it helped when the muscle wanted to contract.
Still being a newbie, I want to feel comfortable that I can pull it out without pain. This is where the gloved finger has helped me control those muscles, so I feel reasonably comfortable and can just enjoy doing it! Prior to this I had started doing kegel exercises which toned some of the muscles in my groin, all rather handy now.

Hi tdt422!

Welcome to the Forum!

Congrats on your early successes with the Progasm!
I find that the Helix is a more maneuverable unit and
gives me a little more success than the Progasm.

I usually recommend the MGX for a first unit tho!

You will probably end up with several, as most of us do???

It sounds like you are proceeding slowly but surely???
(The best way to start anything you do, till you get to
know what you are doing)

You seem to be on the correct path to begin your Journey
and please post "any" questions you might have along the way!

Above all, enjoy yourself!

Later, Hlaser99

Been reading a lot around about the "rewiring".
What is that all about?
I get the sense it's when your body has adapted to these new pleasures? I feel things happening inside me that bring my groin to my attention and my penis is more sensitive, especially near the base.
It helps also that I have not had a traditional orgasm in about 6 days, love the edging. I realize everybody is a little different, but is it ok to have aneros sessions daily, not super long ones - 30-45 minutes, fell a mini-o or two, open things up a little. I have for the last 5 days and nothing is painful. I can sometimes feel like it's still in me later in the day, that's pleasurable to think about when I get some privacy and as a distraction for the day's work. Anyway, I will continue to dig into the stickies and learn more.

This is what is written in the Wiki. If you have not been there you should go. It has an unbelievable amount of information in it:

rewired Slang for the distinctive changes that one's body undergoes through the use of the Aneros. In particular: (1) becoming permanently responsive to non-penile forms of stimulation, as associated with the prostate, perineum, nipples, anus and rectum; (2) a vivid sense of tingling well-being in the pelvic region, most noticeable when not in sexual situations; (3) an overall increase in sexual sensitivity; (4) an overall improvement in sexual performance, including ejaculatory control and erectile function; (5) increased skill at arousal amplification techniques such as the Aneros, KSMO, the Slightest Touch, and secondary erogenous zone stimulation, among others, so that spontaneous pleasure and non-ejaculatory orgasm become increasingly easy to achieve.

You'll also know the rewiring has begun when you can sit in your chair and just think about the feelings and actually feel a buzz start in your prostate. That's a very cool thing. Good luck on the journey.

I think some of the rewiring is happening. I didn't have any sessions today, but I still feel aroused by doing some light contractions similiar to kegels, gives me a chill and pleasant internal feeling.

They have just started for you tdt422. There have been times when I have almost been blindsided with Full Body Orgasms out of nowhere. They are slight and with a small amount of concentration I would be able to coax them into full blown. It is really quite remarkable!
