This is the description of the new line of Boy Butter...H2O. It sounds too good to be true. Safe with all toys and in any orifice. It's even edible! It's shelf life is 4 years...now, I wonder how tasty it would be after 4 years...?

Be sure to check out the "fine print"...that I have converted to bold print. The chemicals are listed at the bottom.

We are proud to introduces the Worlds first water-based cream lubricant, a whole new category of personal lubricant. This water-based product is formulated in much the same way most water-based lubricants are but it is blended with emulsifiers to give it that creamy look. Instead of oils Boy Buttr used aloe vera extract, shea butter extract and vanilla extracts which mimic the desired characteristics of oils.

*HAS ALL THE BENEFITS OF OIL-BASED LUBRICANTS WITHOUT ANY OF THE DRAWBACKS
*LATEX CONDOM SAFE
*WASHING OFF WITH JUST WATER.
*GREAT FOR MASTURBATION, ANAL AND VAGINAL SEX
*IS SAFE, HYPO-ALLERGENIC, GENTLE, FEMALE FRIENDLY, EDIBLE, AND NON-STAINING.
*TOTALLY SAFE ON ALL SEX TOYS (RUBBER, GLASS AND SILICONE-BASED)
*SAFE ON LATEX CLOTHING
*4 YEAR SHELF LIFE

Ingredients: DI Water Carbomer, tocopheryl, acetate, methylparaben, propylparaben, propylene glycol, glycerin, peg-100stearate, glyceryl stearate, tricaprylin, shea butter, cyclopentasilozane, aloe vera extract, vanilla extract, diazolidinyl urea, yellow 5, triethanolamne

I have used Boy Butter before, and it works great.

Those ingredients sound scary but if you google each of them separately you will see that they are not toxic, and are safe to use.

DI Water Carbomer = Deionized water with a thickening agent
Tocopheryl acetate = vitamin E acetate
methylparaben = anti-fungal and a popular preservative for food and cosmetics
propylparaben = preservative typically found in many water-based cosmetics, such as creams, lotions, shampoos and bath products
propylene glycol = medical lubricant
etc...

I have noticed that the Boy Butter seems to allow the Aneros to float freely, much better than astroglide and other water-based lubes you can get at the drug store.

Hi again, Hlaser!

Hey, with a slice of cheese and some raspberry jam on top and with a sprinkling of parsley that would be just great!

The actual name of the product is "You Won't Believe it's Not Boy Butter." Personally, I order mine from amazon.com and a google search shows that CheapLubes.com, drugstore.com and a number of other sites allso have good prices. Personally, I prefer the squeeze bottle over the tub - it is a bit more expensive in the squeeze bottle, but easier to put it where you need it, etc..

I noticed that the Astroglide doesn't seem to last that long. My last session was an hour long and I was sore afterward. It was slick to begin with. Now I am thinking I should have prelubed. At any rate this stuff seems to be worth a try. Maybe they should package it with the Progasm.

I use the regular Boy Butter now but I'm toying with trying this version next. Question, has anyone Pre-lubed with BB? I currently pre-lube with Maximus and it seems to absorb to quickly. I'm wondering if this one will also or if I'm better off sticking with the regular BB. I bought the small tub the first time so it's not really practical to scoop it into the syringe for prelubing. I'm going to get the squeeze container next just which one? Stick with the known or risk wasting 20 bucks on the waterbased and end up with Maximus results?

I never tried the non-h20 boy butter, but the h20 version is a thick creamy consistency. You won't be wasting your money, IMO. If you search on google you can find sites that sell sample packets for around a buck plus shipping, if you are really unsure. However, since you have used the Boy Butter products you will know that they are very high quality, etc., and that they seem to be very concerned about what chemicals guys are using as lubricant, and strive to make a safe product that works well. Most water-based lubes soaks in quickly, but the boy butter lasts much longer, without soaking in as quickly. The difference between astroglide and boy butter is like night and day, IMO.

How does this compare to KY jelly?

How does this compare to KY jelly?

Boy Butter isn't sticky the way K-Y can be. Also, some people report stinging or burning feelings with KY jelly, but not with boy butter. KY also tends to quickly dry up and feels sticky and uncomfortable (not good for long sessions).

One thing that is VERY important - no matter what type of lubricant you use - lube can easily become contaminated. Many doctors and health professionals suggest that lube should never take it from the tube directly to your hand, rather squeeze some out on another surface, like paper, than take it by hand from there.

Thanks Bonerowner,

Have you pre-lubed with the BB yet? I'll give the H2O based BB a try, I can alway go back to the original. I think part of my reasoning for trying the H2O one is I don't want to increase my Wife's chances of getting Yeast Infections from the original version. I understand that there is that risk due to the oils in the original being food for yeast.

hlaser99, I'm sure you'll be impressed by Cheaplube.com's speed of shipping/customer service. I've ordered from them a couple of times and can't believe the quality of service. Received both of my orders within 48 hours.

Yes, I have. I suggested Butter Boy as a lube during the last chat event based on my personal experience with the product (and I was referring to the H20 version). I used Butter Boy before, and then switched to the water-based version and noticed no appreciable differences. The H20 version lasts much longer than astroglide or ky.

I always prefer H20-based lubes - the anus absorbs things in to the bloodstream 8 times quicker than ingesting things orally. Oil-based lubes tend to cause a person to want to purge, and silicone-based lubes are just plain scary, IMO. Baby Oil should NEVER be used in the anus - it can cause allergic reactions, and can harbor bacteria, and is not intended for internal use.
