You need to take a break now.
Yeah I know I do. I keep getting all the sensations of pleasure though when I'm just sitting or laying around. Can't seem to keep my mind off it. I might be better off having a few traditional orgasms to kind of cool that down enough for me to take a break.
@aneros_user120711
Exactly!
All I can say is WOW after what happened last night. I was following through with my plan to take a break from using the Aneros. So I was just laying in bed practicing breathing and anal/rectal contractions while also reading through the forum/wiki. For some reason everything seem to be so easy and in sync, but I held off the urge and went to bed.
This is where the fun/scary stuff started. I could feel my body buzzing and still felt very much in sync with everything I did so I decided to start trying to do those rolling anal/rectal contractions. My concentration on the pleasure was much better and it kept feeling better and better. A weird sensation hit. It was kind of like being dizzy and felt like laying down after being on open water all day. I felt like I was bobbing up and down on waves. After a few minutes my involuntaries took over and I got the sense that I was getting fucked with long and rhythmic strokes...and it wasn't even in me! Things kept getting more intense and it was like I could do nothing wrong. Everything intensified the pleasure.
By this time, my whole body was buzzing heavily combined with the ocean waves going through me. This kept getting stronger until I felt as if I were melting into the bed and floating at the same time as continous pleasure coursed throughout my body. Then it just subsided without warning. This all occurred in about 10 minutes. I tried to start over, but it was impossible. It was like my body said that is enough for now.
I was still buzzing heavily and having involuntaries like crazy though so I decided to have a traditional o. Another new sensation! I could wank for as long as I want and push off any feeling of ejaculation. It felt like I could have gone all night if I wanted. I had to concentrate just to have an orgasm. Now that could get put to good use!
So here is where the scary part starts. After ejaculation I still couldn't turn these involutaries, body buzzing, and pleasure waves off. I thought I was going to get a good night sleep, but it just wouldn't stop. I was so energized and not even tired anymore. It took me almost 3 hours to finally fall asleep. Things have calmed considerably this morning though. Still have a slight body buzz, but nothing too bad. It actually feels like the morning after having some drinks minus the feeling sick part.
Wow! What a night! Not sure if some would consider that a super o or not. Personally, I think it was just the start of one. There is something much greater out there. If I could have held it for 5 more minutes I might have experienced it.
P.S. I never even had an erection during any of those 10 minutes.
Had an aftershock today after what happened last night. Just sitting at the computer a really intense pleasure came over me similar to last night along with involuntaries. Had to get up and walk around to calm things down again. Looking forward to see if this happens again tonight without the aneros. I may need to go to bed earlier though in case it does.
Has anyone else experienced this trying to go to sleep? I love the feeling, but it makes it difficult to sleep.
All you've described makes perfect sense and indeed happened before (just read the forum, you'll see).
You indeed had a deep orgasm. Congratulations!
The ghost effect or after shock (call it what you want) often lasts for a couple of days.
Now the money quotes:
A weird sensation hit. It was kind of like being dizzy and felt like laying down after being on open water all day.
(...)
Things kept getting more intense and it was like I could do nothing wrong.
(...)
It was like my body said that is enough for now.
(...)
Now for the shocker: from the very "weird sensation hit" to the "enough for now", this was one orgasm all the time.
Better see now what I call "in orgasm" or "out of orgasm"? Orgasm isn't the conclusion. Orgasm is the whole thing. And you had proof you where fully in it: you could do nothing wrong.
You also now understand why some girls can't fall asleep after sex like most boys do.
And finally for the fun:
Not sure if some would consider that a super o or not.
We often read that with a smile, and we always know it is just the signature of somebody having had his first. LOL
Congrats again.
Not only have you gained great pleasure but also great wisdom. Keep store of what you wrote. You might want to read it again some time, cuz it's full of insights.
@Canacan Thanks for the kind words. I think I'm seeing the light now. Being "in orgasm" and "out of orgasm" makes a lot of sense. I think when guys hear orgasm, they automatically think to what a traditional o is. Getting this out of your mind is probably one of the biggest obstacles.
Looking back I had a similar experience one of the first few times I used the aneros using a technique the wiki calls "marijuana magic". I don't think it lasted as long though. Just a week ago I was thinking I would never be able to attain these feelings without the aid of pot. I was wrong about that. 🙂
I wanted to get these feelings back last night when I went to bed and I had the start of the "bobbing up and down on waves" sensation, but it never advanced from that. My problem was just being exhausted from sleep deprivation the last week so I just gave up and fell asleep. Tonight, I'm planning on an Aneros session since I haven't used it since Saturday night. Then I'll skip tomorrow and hopefully get a good one in for the full moon.
I was thinking of starting a journal/blog of the experiences of each session to keep track of my different sensations and anything new I may encounter.
I think you could use an extra day's rest. It will make it a bit harder for you to re-climb that ladder. But it is both better for your understanding of the process and your overall balance.
Yes, understanding how different deep orgasms are from tension based ejaculation is a big obstacle for most. You have to experience it to believe it.
And yes I agree with you once we had our first genuine super, we often should realize we had some glimpses of it before. This thing is not that special. It is a natural thing after all.
What we are doing is reconnecting with our "animal spirit", merely feeling the very sensations of being alive.
Once you learned that, you shouldn't ever need drugs again.
This has also rekindled a memory I had from when I was 13 or 14. For a few months I would get this really intense full body feeling just sitting in class. It made me feel like I was going to pass out. I had no idea what it was and scared me quite frankly. After the initial time, I liked the feeling and it made me feel really good. Then it just stopped happening after a few months. I think I'm touching on this same feeling now as I felt back then. No idea what triggered back then other than puberty hormones, but am glad it is back!
@orgazmo congratulations, hope you keep doing so well. You have worked hard for it!
@smudgefish Thanks. I had a session last night but it was a dud. Well, not a dud, but not like it was the other night. Guess I still have some things too learn. Not sure how I was able to relax and concentrate so well the other night. I'm wondering if it has something to do with my diet I've started this week. I'm running a calorie deficit so I know that depletes energy and affects concentration. Although, my body is getting a lot more nutrients from the veggies, fruits, nuts, and lean meats I'm eating. Hoping I adjust after a week and those super o feelings return. I eat a lot of spinach which is supposed to be good for male performance.
@Canacan Maybe you were right about that extra day of rest. I think I may take the rest of the week off and just do some exercises and if it happens, it happens. That way I'm not just wasting hours trying to get there. It only took a few minutes of concentration last time to kick it off without the aneros.
I'm wondering if doing breathing exercises and contractions 30 minutes prior to a session is better than just inserting it and then doing breathing and contractions.
I took a ride with the Progasm last night, but no super o's. Not sure how I pulled it off a week ago. Tried just about every technique imaginable but just couldn't get there. I didn't force anything and just enjoyed the pleasure I had during the session, but looking back it is still disappointing knowing what bliss awaits. I'll keep plugging away though and eventually I will crack the code. At least no vertigo or feeling sick this time after riding.
Love the K tab on the Progasm btw!
That's not uncommon. Many report having a breakthrough into O-country followed by a period when they just can't get anything going. Don't fixate on it. Any good feelings you had once, you will have again.
I'll speculate that the dry spell is a facet of recovery from having the wind knocked out of you, figuratively speaking, but I have no data to support that.
I am intimidated by the Progasm. It looks scary big. I'll probably own one someday, but I don't have the courage for it today.
It's not that my sessions don't feel great, it's just that I've had a taste of the pinnacle now I want more. I'm just going to try to enjoy my sessions for what they are however. The Progasm isn't too bad, just have to insert it a little more slowly. Once it is in you can't even really tell it is that big other than a feeling of more fullness. Just don't fall asleep with it in 😉
@orgazmo I can tell you all about the dry spell(s). Seems to come back eventually but you realise how little control you have over it.
I agree with @PSLabs that it is probably a period where you are recovering from expending a large amount of energy. For me I have always been able to enjoy a session, even in a dry spell I can get to a high intensity of pleasure it's just that my body will not go into an orgasm as if it just doesn't have the energy. Then at other times it just seems to happen without much effort. It's taken months of frustration but I'm learning how to read my body and eventually learning a bit of patience.
I agree with the preverbal wind being knocked out of you in regards to getting to the orgasm and then long periods of time where nothing happens, i can relate to this. However the issue is that for some the length of time between being able to go from this low to the O again can be, in some cases, years. Its the sense of loss that be destructive here.
That is probably a good theory about your body needing to recover. I often wonder how much energy I expend during a session, calorie wise. Although there is not much movement, I often feel incredibly hungry and thirsty after a session. Hopefully by the next full moon I'll be ready to have another one.
Some interesting things happened when I went to bed last night. I was at the edge of falling asleep and became aware of it. I was able to enjoy a trance like state and generate some nice pleasure, floaty sensations, and visual perceptions. No super o or anything like that, but still pleasurable.
I had a pretty good long session last night. No super o, but a lot of orgasms. I had a new sensation that I could manipulate a muscle on my tailbone. It wasn't immensely pleasurable at first, but it was something new so I just went for it. After about an hour, I started having some of the most lusty, horny feelings I've ever experienced. It felt like I was going to cum for hours, but never did. Then a small orgasmic wave hit, followed by another, and another until they were almost as strong as a regular orgasm. One of them I had the strongest involuntary contraction I've ever experienced. It actually made my perineum sore from the tab getting pressed into me so much. Not sure exactly how many I had, but it was prob at least 10. This is the closest I've been to the infamous o-zone ever. For me, the key to getting the orgasms to come was recognize when those tingly feelings of the beginning of an orgasm happen. Then you just have to relax and let it wash over you.
This session was something completely new and different compared to the ones where I was going after a super o. However, I could sense there was something else building, but I just didn't make it there because I had to end the session. I was already 3.5-4 hours in. It was something really deep that felt like it would have been the most intense pelvic based orgasm I've ever experienced. I don't think it would have been a super o, but something else.
Anyways, I'm happy to check off another item in the newbie's checklist on the super o wiki! Hopefully more to come!
