Please refer to the graph in the link to get what I mean. There’s a few things I want to clarify:
I don’t know much about anatomy but my conclusion is that the massager got stuck in the middle fold (kohlrausch-fold) of my rectum. When I checked with my finger, I did sense that my rectum is not very straight and there is a narrow neck-like thing when I inserted my middle finger approximately two knuckles deep. I could not go further because my finger was not long enough.
There’s a post that seems to have a very similar issue that I am currently having ( https://community.aneros.com/forum/general-discussion/trident-maximus-k-tab-doesnt-make-contact/ ). One good fellow Unfug suggested using a scooping technique
here’s his original sentence if you don’t get what it means:
While inserting, do a scooping motion and point the tip to your spine until the p-tap digs in a bit. Then let go. This way, the tip will pivot after it passed the fold and, thus the massager goes deeper in and the k-tab should make contact. The massager will most likely stay in place because the fold prevents the tip from sliding over it (yet again).
And this did not work for me, again. I gave around 5 attempts, trying different postures, angles, depths but all I got is an ass that now hurts very vaguely. Idk, perhaps it was not stuck, perhaps the fold was just that hard to pass, perhaps I was not doing the technique right…whatever…tbh I feel quite frustrated now. I hope this post may help some people who have the same problem and if you have a solution, I would be very happy to know 🙂
Hi, welcome to the Forum !
Your link seems to be kaput, you should be able to paste the picture directly into your post so we can have a better idea of the situation.
It sounds like the P-tab makes contact too early, before the device is deep enough to tilt forward ? Basically, all the pressure is on the perineum. Would that make sense ? If that's the case then you might want a massager that has an adjustable P-tab so you can get it lower to allow deeper penetration.
@zentai Thank you for your reply!
I tried pasting my picture directly but couldn’t get it to work. I have upadated my link. Hope it’s visible now!
The problem I had was that there was way too much pressure on the perineum that it felt like someone was digging into my preineum, and it was very distracting. Meanwhile, the k-tab floated freely without touching my tailbone area. I checked the position of my massager and it totally did not look like the illustration aneros provided. The P-tab probably does make contact too early. It is like a lever, lifting the tip away from the prostate
But recently I tried to attach a piece of sponge to the P-tab (according to a post in the community, but I could not find that post now). The sponge helps to elevate the massger a bit higher, so it goes in a bit less deep, though the K-tab is still not touching anything, the massager does feel tilting forward and touching the front wall now. Not too sure if that's ideal but it certainly is a lot better.
