Hello Folks, 🙂

I need some help from you folks that have some medical knowledge or experience with this. I have a history of intermittent non-bacterial prostititus once every few years since I was 18. I'm now 39. And I believe that I now may have another one of these episodes. This would be the first since I started my Aneros journey. Basically what is happening is that after an Aneros session and into the next day, I get a quite painful pulsing feeling in my right testicle, as if it was swollen (but it's not), and a very tender and painful feeling on the same side right along the crease of where my leg meets my crotch for a few inches, although more on the crotch side of it. Any strong abdominal contractions tend to be painful, coughing, laughing and that sort of thing. I've found most of these symptoms go away by no longer having Aneros sessions. But I find that sitting for long amounts of time causes my prostate to generate a pulsing ache in a mildly painful way. The only thing that has change within my regular Aneros sessions, is that I now ejaculate a bit more often than I have for the last year at about once every two to five days. Versus once every two to three weeks before that. Otherwise no more Aneros sessions until this is healed or figured out.

Does this sound like prostititus symptoms?
Will this go away if I don't do any prostate massage or ejaculation for a week or two?
I'd like to avoid going to the doctor and have anti-biotics prescribed for me if possible. So I'd like to know what else I can do on my own to prevent this and allow it to heal. Thanks.

Hi Love_is.

I am sorry that you are suffering this way, particularly in this area of your body. I have had bouts of prostatitis from my late teens and occasionally through adulthood. The most recent one that had symptoms (deep body chills, exceptional urine flow restriction, and occasional mild fever) that sent me to the doctors was about ten years ago and they sent me to a specialists clinic at a hospital in the Big City. There they inserted a scope to do a visual inspection and they ended by prescribing a 3 months dose of an antibiotic. YIKES!!!

Anyway it did the job. Since then I know I have had some mild events and nothing that has persisted following aneros treatments. They may have just been a matter of waiting too long between BPH therapy sessions with Max, ICE, or now VICE!!!

I have not had symptoms of the type you describe ever with prostatitis, but that does not exclude anything in your case. Where I have had somewhat similar symptoms (on my left side) was years ago occasionally before surgery for varicocele (varicose vein on my left testicle), and never had them since. This may well have nothing to do with your current problem. None of this is medical advice!!

You may already have seen these and/or other prostatitis websites: Prostatitis symptoms, prostate infection signs ,–,

All the best Love_is. You may just be in a situation where a doctor's investigation and treatment have become essential. Good health my friend!

Love _ is, your symptoms closely mimic Epididymitis. You did not mention, but often one testicle is red and swollen. Groin pain and discomfort in the pelvis is common. As well, there may be pain w/ ejaculation and urination. There are a few other symptoms as well. Google it. Regardless, it's a trip to your physician. Easily diagnosed and a prescription of antibiotics will be given. It's much better to treat this sooner than later as you don't want it to worsen into another condition.

Make yourself a drs appt and SOON.

Ok, point well taken. Thank you for your responses artform and nurselady. 🙂 I've got a doctor appointment for this evening. Hopefully it's nothing serious and easily solved. (Doctor: Were going to have to cut your balls off. It's the only way to relieve your pain and symptoms. Patient: What???? LOL) I'll report back with what is found out. As much as we love to talk about all things anal play pleasure related here, I just don't fancy having a strange man's gloved fingers shoved up my ass to inspect my prostate. Ah well... {sigh}

Ok, so I didn't have to have my balls cut off. But I did get the obligatory strange doctor man fingers up my ass. And he said my prostate was just fine and normal so no worries there. And the winner is... {drum roll}

Nurselady!
Spot on, you got it right! Epididymitis was the diagnosis. For your prize, I'll be sending you a replica of my ass so you to can put your fingers up my backside! Ok, not really. But it made me chuckle to envision you opening the box from UPS and being like WTF??? LOL

Anyways...
After reading more about this condition, I now understand why the doctor immediately asked me if I've been having sex without using a condom. But seeing as how it's been about two years since I last had intercourse, is it safe to assume if I had contracted chlmaydia or gonorrhoeae (which are listed as two possible infection sources for Epididymitis) from my last partner that symptoms from these two STD's would have reared it's ugly head long ago? Thus leaving other non-STD bacterial infection causes of the problem? I notice the wikipedia page says that congestive epididymitis is a long term complication of vasectomy which I have had done 5 or 6 years back. Hopefully that's not what this is going to turn into. Anyways, the doc put me on 10 days of anti-biotics which I have to go and get later today. Thanks for the all help folks. It's much appreciated. 🙂

I'm actually surprised you got the full treatment from your dr, I suppose one can't be TOO CAREFUL. Your symptoms were pretty clear cut. However, when you are reading symptoms and not actually SEEING them as in assessing a patient - it's much different. I'm glad you got to the dr, Get your meds today, by tomorrow you'll be feeling better.

You are correct, If I opened a box with a replica of your backside, I'm certain a thousand questions would have entered my mind!
Your responses are good for a chuckle! 🙂

Hello Nurselady, 🙂

I'm sure the doctors give me the full treatment because they know how sexy I am and that ladies are constantly swooning, screaming in excitement, or begging me to call them as I walk by. (sarcasm implied) 😉 LOL

Your symptoms were pretty clear cut. However, when you are reading symptoms and not actually SEEING them as in assessing a patient - it's much different.

Well I was going to send you a picture of my balls... But I guess that's not necessary at this point. LOL

So I've got the meds now, and hopefully in a short amount of time I'll be well enough to go back to getting my jollies off by putting things in my butt just like we all like here at the Aneros forums. A romping good anal time! Peace out! 😀

Might be testicular torsion I had that once. I was very smart to go to the doctor right away. It's better to go now just to make sure.
