When I first discovered Aneros about 8 or so years ago (I am in my late 60s age wise) I bought the Programs, read a lot on the Forum and thought, well that was not worth the investment. No feeling and no sensations that others write about in their posts. Thinking there was more to this, I bought a Helix (regular one), and continued to read and also watch a video now and then.  The Helix seemed to hit better and I started to get sensations. It took a good while, then my ass started to wake up. I also bought the two pack Peridise, and would start with the Peridise then move on to the Helix.  That seemed to work for me, it was a gradual process.  The nerves are there, they have been inactive for a lifetime and now at that time they were starting to give pleasure. I deal with ED, what I now get is a decent semi, with sensations up and down my cock. My nipples are also hard wired to my prostate and working them, even as I sit here at my desk, makes me throb.  Set yourself a goal, start working the Helix, do you Kugels ever so lightly, use lots of lube, and relax.  This is real and it works. It took about six months for me to start feeling the sensations, and what I have experienced is the building of one session after the last, this is well worth your investment of time.  Hang on and enjoy the up and coming ride!

Unfortunately, you can't consciously maintain 'involuntaries' because they are, by definition, involuntary. However, you can practice those techniques which encourage them to occur. This may be as simple as trying a different body position, have you tried using while kneeling, on all fours, draped over a couch arm, lying on your side, on your back with lumbar elevation ? These different positions put different stresses/pressure on your body such that your response may also differ, perhaps sustaining the involuntary contractions for a longer period of time.

It is obvious your body is responding to your Aneros usage (accelerated heart rate, involuntaries, pleasure) now it is a matter of fine tuning your techniques or trying brand new techniques. Have you tried @B-Mayfield's Sling Shot approach or @Caveof Mystery's Quick and Dirty Path to the Super-O. I suggest you re-read @B-Mayfield's post AROUSAL AND GENERATING SENSATIONS WITH ANEROS for some more information about generating involuntary contractions.

Yes, that is perfectly normal to not have an erection, your erectile state has no bearing on your ability to generate prostate based orgasms, likewise, pre-cum is not an indicator of prostate orgasmic ability. You noted in your post that you did feel the start of pleasure, that is the P-wave effect. Initially these are very subtle but as you learn to mentally focus on them their apparent intensity will grow. This is a matter of dropping expectations of what constitute P-waves and focusing on the sensations that do exist and appreciating them as pleasurable. Doing this requires a paradigm thought shift in your orgasmic understanding, until you are able to make that shift, prostate based orgasms may be quite elusive.

Good Vibes to You!
