I have been using Aneros Helix for about 2-3 months now, and i havent felt any sort of pleasure.
Have you read the wiki? Have you browsed the stuff on this forum? If so, please describe in more detail what you're doing so we can help.
I have been using Aneros Helix for about 2-3 months now, and i havent felt any sort of pleasure.
Would like to learn more about your situation, but for now, let me just express sympathy for your frustration or disappointment.
Sorry to hear about your frustration. It took me three months using the Helix, my starter model, to begin feeling tiny flutters in the anal sphincter muscle when I'd relax and hold light PC muscle contractions. Gradually getting to where you can amplify these flutters with PC muscle contractions is the key to getting the orgasmic feelings to come. Even so, it took me an additional 7 to 9 months before the orgasms starting coming regularly.
Hello, Derek, and a warm welcome to our community. While you've been using for several months, I wonder if you've been reading the experiences of others on this forum. This process may take a while. I like to encourage new users to keep trying by saying that each session brings you that much closer to the real thing. I echo slimjim when I say that it took me 6 months to start not only learning my body's feedback mechanism, but to actually start to enjoy...and really look forward to...my Aneros sessions.
A great deal of the Aneros rewiring journey is mental, Derek. By that I mean that your mental attitude and freedom from high expectations. Mental preparedness, an open, eager willingness to find a new paradigm (way of thinking) that should help speed along your journey.
Here is a link to some of the best advice anyone can give you: http://www.aneros.com/forum/groups/cherry-picks/ Here you will find an incredible amount of help when it comes to realizing the spiritual (non-religious) aspects of the Aneros experience, as well as many tips on the physical side as well.
I really have lost count of how many times I and other users have written this post...has to be in the hundreds for guys just like you, brother. It's ALWAYS the same message. Practice, patience, and persistence. The thee P's of the Aneros journey. No, you're not doing anything wrong. No, there is nothing wrong with your prostate or the Helix (IMHO the best starter Aneros massager of the all). Yes, it's hitting your prostate just fine. Yes, you're putting it in correctly (I assume) and no, you're not overusing it. Yes, others have experienced the same thing, and yes, you'll have to continue to struggle. (And No, I'm not trying to be a smart-ass.)
So, Derek, carry on. Rome wasn't built in a day, and very few guys experience Aneros success quickly. And remember, anything worth having (and believe us when we say it is) is worth working for. Once you get there, and you will, you'll forget all about the struggle and simply begin to experience one of the best, most blissful feelings you could ever imagine.
Patience, Practice, Persistence.

Unlike the report above, I was up and running very quickly, thanks largely to some advice I found in this forum (I wish I remembered who)...
Someone wrote that a good beginner exercise was to learn how to hold the Aneros "forward" (with one's rectal muscles) to apply steady unrelenting pressure to the prostate, allowing other vibrations to channel through that pressure, until finally the body just gives up and comes. It didn't lead me straight to the Super O, but it did guarantee that I always enjoyed my sessions. I couldn't believe it when I learned how to dry-O multiple times an hour with that method (about a week after I'd started the journey).
Nowadays, I haven't done that in AGES (over a year), but it definitely helped get me over the hump, and would have been an early progress in strengthening my anal muscles too. Now I can just completely relax/surrender and have a greater/deeper experience, but "orgasms on demand" took much of the frustration out of the early journey.
I haven't experienced any kind of orgasm yet with the Helix I bought, but I feel like I'ce been close, with some pleasurable feelings. One thing I've found to help is to use your imagination when you are using the Helix. Are you just concentrating on the Aneros being in there or letting your mind wander to sexual thoughts? What turns you on? Think of that and play out things in your mind whilst using, also try watching porn or whatever floats your boat. That has helped for me.
