I have been using the Aneros for 2 years on and off with what would generally be called mixed results. Yesterday I went back over the instructions(duh!) and found 2 things First I used a baster to shoot large quantities of lube up my ass, as The atricle mentioned that Aneros needed a lot of lube to work correctly. And second, instead of gripping as hard as I had been I tried the "mini Kegel". After a few minutes, i felt the beginning as things started working. The anal contractions were becoming intense and then the involuntary shakes began, my legs, arms, everywhere. Then the dry orgasm, which seemed to just go on and on until I was afraid I would pass out. I now know what all the fuss is about. My one question is, which model would be thicker, filling me up more? Any advice is appreciated

The 2 devices that are known for giving the "full" feeling effect are the DeVice and the Progasm series as they are the fattest.

Thanks for the tip. The progasm jr. sounds like it might work for now.

Hi @geeman,

Congratulations on your first Super-O! Like @Trei, I have a fondness for the Progasm series and the DeVice.

I also have the Progasm Junior who exhibits great ease of mobility and thus may be just right for you. 😉

I have the Helix Syn and though I've thought about trying out one of those "cooler" models, I would point out a few things to you, even though I cannot speak from experience. I am thinking about getting the Progasm, Jr., just to see what many are talking about, but I do think that bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to the device. If it cannot move freely inside, you will, I believe, get less prostate (and anal) stimulation. As far as lube is concerned: I think a baster is a little too drastic. It's probably over 2 cm (nearly 1 inch) in diameter and that can't be fun inserting. I have used a 10 cc syringe (only about 1/2 inch in diameter), "sawed off" at the end, then carefully melting the end over a small gas flame till it is rounded and smooth, and letting it cool completely before touching it. That gives you adequate access to the rectum through the anus without any risk of hurting your anal passage (if you cause an abrasion there, you will definitely not be able to have a pleasureable experience for a while). I, too, started with "lots" of lube, but I have found, as our wise and experienced friends then told me, that putting 5-7 mL into the rectum is enough, followed by coating the Aneros device. I have yet to get hold of Shea butter or some of the fancier concoctions and I have avoided water based stuff, because many have antibacterial chemicals which I think might be absorbable through the rectal mucosa. I have found that A&D ointment which is a mixture of petroleum jelly (vaseline) and lanolin works well with olive oil, and I'll put the A&D in the bottom of the syringe and top it off with 1-3 mL of olive oil and insert. Then, I'll put a small amount of A&D on the device and spread it thin and smear some olive oil over that, and that works superfine. Wishing you success however you decide. And let us know...

@armon-neat, i used to use A&D and olive oil also and while good, its no comparison in my opinion to shea butter. Shea butter is way more slippery inside and lasts much longer.

I looked up Shea butter. Got confused. Are you referring to the lotion?

@geeman, nope not lotion, its unrefined, organic shea butter. This is what i use. http://www.amazon.com/Shea-Butter-Organic-Unrefined-HDPE/dp/B007B6RR98/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1392013906&sr=8-3&keywords=unrefined+shea+butter. Shea butter is solid at room temperature, so either you can insert bullet shaped globs or melt it before hand and inject like I do, either way it will work as your body will warm it up into a liquid once its inserted, I just prefer pre-melting mine.

I use frozen extra virgin olive oil chips frozen in an ice-tray, it can easily last 12 hours or more even with trips to the bathroom if using a smooth device such as Tempo or Progasm Ice, without having to re-lube the anus.

I think I'll try the A and D first. Do you melt that and insert or insert as is?

Used the new A and D formula for lube and had my second super O in a week. Laid on my back, with my legs up and the anal contractions started almost immediately after insertion. I went with these and as they increased, the shakes began. First my lip was quivering, then my hands/arms , then my legs first one then both and finally my whole body . My ass seemed like it wanted to expel the device and yet it wouldn't let go or stop. I thought last time was intense, but this topped it.

Thanks for the advice I decided to try the Shea butter. Checked some of the info on this site. I froze it and inserted and it was every bit as good as everybody said.

@ineverknew What is the shelf life on the shea butter? Is that a consideration in how much to get at one time? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,

This is perhaps a dumb question. Can one get shea butter at a good grocery store, or a supermarket such as Safeway or Giant. I live in Washington, DC

I finally had to go to a health food store. Major grocery and drug chains didn't tend to have it in stock. Walgreens has it available online I think

from the internet it looks like the shelf life of unrefined organic shea butter is anywhere between 12-24 months, longer if refrigerated. As for grocery stores I have no idea, all I can say is look but I wouldnt hold your breath.

I wish to thank both @geeman and @ineverknew for giving me information about the whereabouts of unrefined organic shea butter. Although I am a devoted of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, I think that the Internet may be where I can purchase this one product.

I have tried olive oil, but much prefer shea butter as it is less "messy" The idea of freeaing it at first botheres me, but after trying it I found it worked very well.
