The plastic it comes in was unsealed, like someone had cut the top of it off... is that normal?

Hello sieur_mets,

And welcome to the Aneros forum! 🙂

Both my Helix and MGX that I ordered direct from Aneros.com arrived in a plastic folding tray of sorts that snaps together in two spot at the top. It is not a permanently sealed package. If you are really concerned about this, I think you would be better served by e-mailing your question to Aneros customer support at:

@aneros.com">support@aneros.com

Just wanted to know if that was normal or if it had been somehow tampered with. I went ahead and tried it out... its a little smaller than I had imagined but I'll keep working at it.

Thanks for the help 🙂

No problem sieur_metz. That's why I referred you Aneros customer support, as I'm not really sure if it is normal packaging for all Aneros models.
Good luck on your Aneros journey. 🙂

I agree with Love_is

My first purchase (Helix) was from a large online sex shop in the UK and when it arrived it was in a press stud, clam shell type tray. I thought nothing of it, washed it well and used it.

My next purchase was from a different supplier and was for the Progasm and Eupho. When they arrived they were fully shrink wrapped. This set alarm bells ringing for my initial purchase.

I emailed the firm I bought the Helix from and expressed my concerns. They replied that as they buy sealed boxes of scores of units the individual units are not shrink wrapped. I would again reiterate this is a major seller with a good name and reputation to uphold.

I have since purchased a PSNew from the HiH site and Peridise from my original online seller and all arrived in the same style of packaging and again were not sealed.

Whilst a sealed package would be reassuring for the consumer I have no doubt whatsoever regarding the integrity of the products. Maybe one day Aneros/HiH could look into heat sealing the packages in the factory though so we are all rest assured of the new provenance of the items.

I was a bit freaked out when I got my first Aneros, the package has a snap closure that can be easily opened. I examined the toy closely and it appeared to be in new condition. I think his a common concern for something like the aneros.
