My Aneros experience + prostate pain.

I’m not new to the sensations that the aneros can bring. it's has taking me a little longer in becoming more in-tune with the aneros massager. When I did first start off using the aneros i found when contracting or pulling the massager in, I’d sort of abruptly get a sharp pain inside my rectum and immediately get go. It wasn't an excruciating pain but definitely there, and was a concern to me. I could only really speculate that something might be wrong or that just needed to learn more about using the massager properly.

Anyway that went on for several weeks and every week I’d use the aneros a couple of times or so, still experiencing this sharp pain but seemed to be getting less and less and less. Next thing tho at this point was that when i would ejaculate without the use for the aneros, I’d get this terrible aching pain at the top of my perineum and that the sides of the base of my penis above my scrotum. So decided, okay better go see the doc.

After explaining everything to my doctor concluded that i might have an enlarged prostate and that was the sharp pain i was experiencing and ordered up a urine test which checks the "white blood count" for infection and "red blood cell count" for checking if the prostate was damaged.

thankfully, the tests came back clear, so we guess what seemed to happen was the prostate was enlarged and massaging it with the aneros (as gently as you can) pushed and moved the infection lower down into the urethra and perineum which caused the pain after ejaculation. Note, I’ve never had this pain since there after.

So really it seems very rare to find someone that's done damage to themselves from anal play, just as long as you are wary about what you’re doing and careful, you can't go wrong. I was massaging my formally enlarged prostate which was beneficial, i mean it didn't feel like it but going slowly, you’re not hurting yourself, which the urine test showed in my case. tho the infection moving downwards wasn't terribly comfortable but hasn't come back since. Now when I use the aneros I have no concerning pains.

Just thought you might find this interesting to hear from my experience and perspective :p. Also I’m interested to hear if anyone else has ever experienced something similar too.

Yes, definately always speak to a doctor before using the Aneros in situations like these. I believe I read on the Aneros Wiki: http://wiki.malegspot.com , that using the Aneros with a prostate problem can sometimes cause more problems or spread the infection. So my advice to everyone, not being a doctor myself, is to speak to a medical professional if you have a prostate issue before you use the Aneros. The Aneros was originally designed as a medical device for such purposes. Since I am young I am going to use the Aneros frequently so I don't end up with prostate cancer when I older like my maternal grandfather has. I heard men can be genetically predisposed to prostate cancer. So I suggest all men of all ages use the Aneros on a weekly basis and ejaculate at least 3 times a week. I hear frequent ejaculation since younger age throughout your life can lower your risk for prostate cancer. You can have fun and stay healthy at the same time!

Indeedy, yeah i agree. Tho i was only 18 when i had this happen and truthfully before i started using the aneros i kinda assumed that i didn't have any underlaying prostate problems given that i was young. but i guess prostate inflamation can happen at any age. definately was a suprise to me, atleast my doctor was pretty sure it was inflamation.
