Hi all,
I'm interested in trying a male chastity device (either CB-3000 or CB-6000S), and I have several questions that I hope experienced users here can help to answer.
1) Can its benefits diminish if I remove the device during day time, especially during rigorous exercise?
2) Male chastity devices show up quite often in dildo play videos on the internet, what are the main reasons and benefits?
3) Can it be used during Aneros sessions? Wouldn't it be quite painful during SuperO when there is a super hard erection?
4) Can it affect the ability to have erection in the long run?
5) Does it hurt during sleep due to nocturnal erection?
Thanks

I'm interested in trying a male chastity device (either CB-3000 or CB-6000S)...

Why? What are your motivations for doing so? Do you have a partner who wants to explore this with you? There are numerous other related questions you may need to ask yourself.

1) Can its benefits diminish if I remove the device during day time, especially during rigorous exercise?

Physically, I can't see many benefits to wearing a chastity device, quite to the contrary, there are numerous physical drawbacks to wearing one, especially during rigorous exercise. You could do yourself permanent physical damage if you were to accidentally put yourself in an awkward position, take a fall or otherwise cause an unusual constriction while exercising. There may be one physical benefit to wearing a ball trap type chastity cage. For men who experience unwanted ejaculations during their Aneros use; the restraint of the testicles by the base ring may help delay/stop the ejaculation reflex by restricting the action of the Cremaster muscle. This muscle typically tries to contract prior to and during orgasm and may be a contributing sensory input to triggering the ejaculatory reflex.

2) Male chastity devices show up quite often in dildo play videos on the internet, what are the main reasons and benefits?

As noted above some chastity devices will inhibit the ejaculatory reflex, delaying orgasm, thus prolonging the pleasure induced from anal stimulation. Most of the porn videos you see are role play enactments of male erotic fantasies. The benefit is to enhance/reinforce the fantasy being visually portrayed, you could consider them just additional scene 'props'.

3) Can it be used during Aneros sessions?

Yes.

Wouldn't it be quite painful during SuperO when there is a super hard erection?

That would depend upon your typical erectile state during a Super-O. If you are typically flaccid during a Super-O then the chastity cage will have little effect. If, on the other hand, you typically have a hard erection during a Super-O then the constraint offered by a cage is likely to be too painful for you to get to the Super-O in the first place. Pain is generally a Super-O killer!

4) Can it affect the ability to have erection in the long run?

That would depend upon how frequently and for what length of time a cage is worn. Occasional use for role play scenes or a couple of days use will probably not affect ones erectile functioning, however, prolonged or repeated use may impact erectile functioning. The old adage "Use it or lose it!" applies here.

5) Does it hurt during sleep due to nocturnal erection?

Yes, unless the device is so improperly fitted and so lose that full erections are still possible. If properly fitted there should be no discomfort when in a non-erectile state.

The primary benefit of wearing a chastity device is psychological. Choosing to employ one of these devices is catering to male erotic fantasies for altering the current dynamic of their sexual situation. There can be many sub-motives for exploring this sexual fetish. There is a wide range of times and conditions associated with male chastity, from use for a few hours to full 24/7 lifestyle usage. Multiple choices are available so have fun with it!

Good Vibes to You !

Thank you for the detailed and informative answers to my questions!
I completely misunderstood about chastity device.
I get hard erection during SuperO and during sleep, so it's definitely not the thing for me.
Thanks

@bbs999 I'll be glad to provide my insight on the topic of male chastity. Here are some thoughts, in no particular order.

My interest in male chastity developed out of the practice of semen retention (SR) and the 21-Day Challenge. I actually made it to 26 days without an ejaculation. Typically, now, I will go 7-10 days in between ejaculations. I realized that I wanted more "restraint" in not having access to my cock for masturbation and other playful things. I wanted more sexual stimulation that comes from chastity. (Not being able to ejaculate at will is a real turn-on for me; that is after all, the purpose of male chastity). So I began to explore various male chastity devices. Due to budget constraints, I started-out with a "generic" version of the CB-6000. Big mistake! It proved not to be effective as it kept coming off during strong erections, when needed the most. In short, it was an imitation, not the real thing.

I tried another "generic" device, modeled after the Holy Trainer. Again, I could not keep it on during erections. Also, it had a 1-piece "ring" that was awkward and sometimes painful to put-on. Again, an imitation not the real thing.

Being frustrated, I decided to bite-the-bullet and invest in a genuine CB-6000. I decided on the CB-6000S after reading about the drawbacks of having too large a cock cage. Incidentally, the genuine article is not cheap: cost me about $135 with a discount. Make sure you buy the genuine article. There are many imitations out there. Now, the first several weeks were spent in getting the "fit" just right. Don't rush it! There are about 5 rings and just as many spacers where you can customize your fit. It sounds like a puzzle: there are about 7 pieces that need to be assembled. But when done right, a properly-fit CB-6000S (I have the clear plastic one) is the chastity device of choice. It will not come off during any erection. I considered but did not invest in a "metal" chastity cage. These (the "good ones") generally are quite expensive and beyond my budget. They obviously are heavier than their plastic counterparts.

If you are going to invest in a CB, you need to take the time for a perfect fit. It took me about 3-4 weeks of on-and-off wearing and tweaking (starting with several hours a day, no more) to achieve that perfect fit. Trial-and-error. By perfect, I mean it feels comfortable (when flaccid) and does not come off with a strong erection (when fully erect). Contrary to others' opinions, I did not find the full erection while wearing it to be painful (you think it would). Quite the contrary, that full feeling in the cage can't really be described, only felt. That first full erection while wearing a cage, I'll admit, can be a little intimidating and scary. I generally would not recommend sleeping in it. I did it a couple of times, but trying to find a comfortable position can really thwart a good night's rest. To answer one of your questions, it has had no impact on my erections. In fact, my night erections seem stronger than ever. As a side-note, wearing the CB-6000S out in public (like I did) can be an extreme turn-on. There really is not much of a bulge with the smaller cage.

One thing that you should be aware of, is that urination while wearing a cage is best done while sitting down (like your female counterpart)! But you get used to it. Also, personal hygiene becomes important for obvious reasons.

Gradually, over a period of months, I weaned myself off of daytime wearing of my CB-6000S. I used to wear it up to about 6-8 hours a day. With @BigGlansDC as an inspiration, I began to explore jockstrap cups to use as "chastity cups". I began to sleep in one. And what I discovered was a whole new way of "managing" my craving for chastity. I now have about 4 cups which I use in rotation. I am not sleeping in one every night right now, but when I am in the mood, I'll put one on and settle-in for the night.

Overall, then, my use of chastity devices has greatly affected my sexuality. I'mm 66 now and feeling more sexually fit than ever. I used to feel I had DE (delayed ejaculation) but not any more. I don't often have sex with my wife, but that is more related to her physical condition. I still ejaculate only occasionally, about every 7-10 days. I am subject to "blue-balls" unfortunately so that is always a show-stopper. I have explored "ruined orgasms" and would recommend them while in chastity. Remember that while "playing" the chastity game, you want to minimize your ejaculations just as if you had a "keyholder". That will maximize your arousal and pleasure.

I enjoy my Aneros sessions now and blog about them quite often. There is a satisfaction I obtain in keeping my prostate healthy and I do this through regular sessions with my devices: HIH 950, SGX and MGX. Budget does not allow investment in a Trident massager at present. But I'm fine with the ones I have.

In summary, @bbs999 don't be discouraged from exploring male chastity, but take your time. I would start with the 21-Day Challenge and build-up gradually so that you can go a week or more without an ejaculation. If you can and if you don't develop "blue-balls" that you can explore a male chastity device like the CB-6000S. Please don't invest in a cheap imitation! You will be disappointed. Take your time, there is no rush. An hour at first, then you can gradually build-up from there. I practice "self-imposed" chastity; I am the keyholder and only I decide when it is time to be "released". Use male chastity as another "tool" in keeping yourself sexually fit and aroused. It is and should not be painful. Work-in your Aneros sessions. You will have an entirely different outlook on life!

Please feel free to PM me any time for more details if you need them. Good luck to you!

Thank you for the detail info!
I didn't know there were so many cheap CB* knockoffs until now, and the real ones are expensive!

Avoiding penile orgasm is not a big problem for me.
I have trained my self well during my rewiring process.
I completed a 92-day no-ejaculation challenge (with many Aneros sessions in between to release pressure),
and I found a reliable and repeatable technique to intentionally induce SuperT during Aneros sessions without touching my penis.
So I guess the main benefits of chastity device would be more on the psychological side for me.
Considering the price of the real CB* devices and I just bought the Trident series,
I probably have to re-visit the idea of chastity device later. 🙂

Wow! 92 Days! I'm impressed! I do more frequent sessions too to release pressure. Any "tricks" to avoid blue-balls? What is your technique for inducing a Super-T?

You are correct that male chastity is essentially a mind-game. But for me, sexual denial is very satisfying and arousing!

I guess my body is just more tolerant to blue balls. During the 92 days challenge, I cycled between awesome times (2~3 Aneros sessions with SuperOs per day + multiple Aless during the day) and really bad times (absoluetely dull sessions + super low libido) several times. After day 80, my prostate was sore and a little painful during Aneros sessions, and leaking sticky prostatic fluid by itself throughout the day. Aneros could not release pressure anymore. My body was begging for ejaculation.

The technique I used to intentionally induce SuperT was "ball/perineum massage".
I read in some articles that it's supposed to be a legitimate traditional medical massage service offered in Thailand.
I use the technique in two circumstances.
1) Before sleep: Massaging the balls and perinuem area for a good 15+ minutes until feeling horny and some light p-waves.
For me that usually brings me strong p-waves that wake me up and awesome Aneros sessions.
2) To intentionally induce SuperT, I have to be very aroused so that I have strong cravings for multiple Aneros sessions in a day. During the 2nd or 3rd sessions, after having enough SuperOs but before falling off the plateau, massaging and/or pulling the balls can trigger the ejaculation with the help of a throbbing prostate and without touching the penis at all. The amount of cum that comes out can be quite amazing, so I usually put a thick absorbent towel beneath me.

Intentional SuperT is the only way I ejaculate now. For me the low libido period after ejaculation this way seems shorter than sexual intercourse or masturbation. From my experiences, I can start having good Aneros sessions within 2 days in average.

@bbs999 Thanks for the details. I am in Day 10 today and have had at least 1-2 sessions a day for last 5 days. I have no hint of blue-balls. I am having a good release of p-fluid during my sessions. Perhaps that is the way for me to continue SR without blue-balls. I like to induce a "ruined orgasm" when I feel I'm ready. The refractory period seems less severe when I ejaculate this way ( don't like the low libido period either). Talk to you again along the way!
