Hi, my aneros is often dry when I take it out because I only apply lubricant on it, I don't have a syringe.

What kind of syringe do you use ?
What quantity of lube do you put in ?
Where do you buy it ?
Any other advice ?

Go to just about any pharmacy and ask for a 10ml liquid medicine syringe. It has no needles just a plastic point... it's used to draw liquid medicine out of a bottle and slowly squirt it into a child's mouth.

The syringe is *usually* free (or nominal in cost) - I think they typically hold up to 10 ml of liquid.

You can optionally buy a graduated bottle insert that accepts the plastic syringe tip (its rubber and looks like a stepped cone about the size of your thumb). With the bottle top removed (I use Astroglide) The stepped cone allowed it to be inserted securely into the bottle of medicine (lube). I turn it upside down and draw out lube.

or you can get a free measuring cup (anything around 20-30 ml from the pharmacy and just pour lube into the cup and suck it up with the syringe.

I use 5-8 ml usually, erroring on the side of more.

i use a little drop on my anus so the syringe slides in easy... get a good deal and squirt it in (slow may be better until you get the hang if it... once it went on my floor (slippery mess).

wash it well and you can reuse it, or chuck it every so often for a fresh one.

i Also apply Astroglide gel (the regular stuff runs too much) on the Aneros to help insertion after injecting

I have not used anal lube shooters... early on I looked into them, but they cost $, claim to not be reusable, prone to breaking (so I've read - not good for your rear) and invite odd looks and questions.

medice syringe is the way to go for me - easy and cheap - your mullage may vary.

I found a dropper at walgreen that holds 5ml. Has a nice rounded nose. I put melted coconut oil in it and throw it in the fridge for 15 minutes. Run it up in and let it sit for 5 minutes till it warms up again. Then give it a squeeze. Cuts way down on the mess. I also use if for ky jelly. I tried olive oil,but that's a real messy business.

I use homemade suppositories that are 1/3 coconut oil 2/3 shea butter. They are about ~5ml of liquid. Much easier to use than syringe. Keep them in refrigerator and pop one in a few minutes before a session. Ebay has cheap plastic molds that work fine.

Walmart sells a great syringe for about two fifty that works extremely well. Don't have the name of it at present, but I bought two and am well pleased with the size and the operation.
