I'm considering adding either a Lelo Hugo or Giddi Thor to my collection of Aneros devices. Has anyone had any experience with either one of these, and have any recommendations? I'm very happy with my Aneros hands free tools, but wanted to add a little variety to my collection. Thanks in advance.

I have the Lelo Hugo and it honestly never has done anything for me at all. It's a quality product and well made from silicone but it just never has worked for me. I bought it wanting to try something different but the vibrating doesn't do anything but make me numb. IMHO you would be better served putting your money in another Aneros model or a good quality butt plug that doesn't vibrate. I've gotten way more pleasure from my small Tantus Neo and the Square Peg Egg plugs at less than half the cost of the Hugo. Of course everyone is different so maybe your results would be better than mine.

I have the Hugo, and use it at the end of a session when I want a traditional orgasm to finish. Lately I’ve been using a couple of penile vibes in conjunction with the Hugo; the Pulse III and the SatisfyerMEN Vibration. The bulk of my sessions are primarily with Aneros products, and my nJoy Wand. The only down check on my Hugo, it tends to pop out. I use it in an upright sitting/reclining position to help keep it in place.

Yeah I bought a Hugo. I know its just not the toy for me. Never got anything pleasurable from it.

I got the Hugo before I knew about prostate orgasms (through aneros). It was fun, but not knowing my prostate, it didnt do anything for me except enhance normal masturbation. Now that I am re-wired... it still does nothing except enhance normal masturbation. It just numbs everything. If I had known I would have gotten 3 aneros toys for the same price :/ or a gallon of lube

Thanks all for your replies. I wondered if the Hugo was just an expensive item vibrator. In my present rewired state, I think I’ll just expand on my Aneros Toolbox.

It's an expensive vibrator. I impulsively bought one as a complete newbie. Stupidly, I kind of regret it now as I'm learning more and have had a bit more success with the aneros eupho & trident. It does distract your concentration a bit when vibrating. At least for me it does.

Ditto on the Hugo. The buzz does little for me and it pops out as soon as things get interesting. Well built though.

I've had a few prostate orgasms from a vibrating toy but never from the Hugo. In fact it was my disappointment with this toy that led me to the Aneros. It's difficult to insert (and somewhat painful unless you're doing a lot of warmup), the vibrations do nothing for me, and if I use when ejaculating during traditional masturbation, it's managed to come out of my anus once or twice. My first one broke after just a few days and I will say that Lelo's customer service is top-notch, I got a replacement in just a week or so, but it's still hella expensive considering it doesn't do what it claims. Also the reviews I've read say that the battery lasts 3 hours but in my experience it's lasted about half that long, certainly not long enough for the fireworks to start for me. Can't comment on the Giddi Thor as I've never owned that one but considering that the Vice II just came out why not get that instead?

I've had the opposite experience with the Hugo, for me it produces mind blowing prostate orgasms, while not as subtle as Aneros I find it just as effective. In fact I have had great results with the Loki toys as well, but I agree that the Hugo doesn't stay in place as well as the Loki toys, but then I sometimes have trouble retaining Aneros toys as well.

Hey, any update on this? I have both and they are very different from one another. Hugo is about the vibration while Thor is about the size and movement. For me, with the Thor, the vibration decreased the effect.

I had been considering the Loki Wave, but a bit leery of the price since the reviews on it seem mixed.

I found a cheap Chinese knockoff on Amazon called "Cheven" (???) and decided the price was low enough that it wouldn't be a total disaster if it went straight into the trash.  I paid $32.84 delivered to my door.

This thing has a heat function, vibration settings, and a tip that wiggles back and forth.  For me, it needs a lot of help staying in place, but damn...the sensations are pretty mind-blowing.  This unit brings me to dry-Os within minutes, and keeps them coming.

I have not had a super-O with it, but I really like it so far.  I've only had it one week, so I can't really speak to the durability (or safety for that matter).  It does appear to be sturdy and well made.

Might be worth looking into if you're unsure about vibrating models and don't want to overspend.

Cheers.

If you want to try a non-Aneros, I have very good experience with nJoy Pure Wand. It's a curved, steel dildo with bulbs on both ends. One big, one small. It's heavy. Excellent for dildoing yourself while lying on your back. The steel is super easy to clean and smooooth.

Old thread but I will add.  I have a Hugo that I bought before buying an Aneros.  It seems to be a well-built toy but it did very, very little for me.  Keeping it in was annoying.  I will admit that I have tried it at the end of a session thinking that with my prostate well stimulated it might be better.  Nope, not really.  Not worth it in my experience and I will probably never use it again but at least I now know.  Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had spent the money on multiple Aneros products.

At some point I may try the Vice2 but for now I am quite content with no vibes.

I have purchased a similar product as the Giddi Thor, and it functions and is designed almost identically. The only difference is the brand and packaging. I am always grateful to the people who designed this product every time I use it.
