Well, I used a water based lube, nothing special. The big thing was that i spent about an hour and half warming up with a different toy. It has a rotating tip on it. I just laid down, relaxed, focused on the motions on my prostate, and before long i had a couple mini o's. I also watched some porn during this time.The only reason i stopped with that toy was because the battery had died. After that my prostate was alive and pulsing and i knew if i used my aneros i was going to be in for a treat. I went 4 hours with nothing but pleasure until I feel asleep. It truly was incredible. During the aneros session i did not use any kegals or breathing since my prostate was doing all the work at that point.

I am a physical creature and for me the one thing that got me over my doubt and into pleasure land was knowing that the prostate needed warming up. After that realization its been great! I use a helix btw.
