I read about this and thought I would see how close I could get, not expecting to be able to get very far. Within several days I am able to get the tip of my tongue into the hypopharynx and I suspect if I wanted it wouldn't take me much more effort to achieve full Khechari.
This is supposed to take years, although I have read of people who have been able to do it spontaneously from a young age, so maybe I am just lucky.
Does anyone have any experience of this? I dare not go any further, particularly after my experience after a first super-O/Kundalini. There seems to be widely varying advice online ranging from it's totally safe don't worry, to only do it after years of preparation with an experienced teacher or you will do serious damage.
You do know how far up bwhind your sinus the full kechari is right? If you can do it without cutting the cord under your tounge then I'm really impressed 🙂 aka. "Breaking the hymen"
Many people say that you should not cut the frenulum. I certainly have no intention of doing that. I was under the impression that once you are inside the nasopharynx it was relatively easy to push upwards and hit the spot, it just takes practice to relax into having the tongue in that position, but finding reliable information on this is next to impossible.
Whether it's easy or not I'm not trying any further just yet as I don't think I am anywhere near ready for it.
