Here lately I have seen accomplished Anerosans recommend kegels to men who are seeking to become rewired. I fall in the category of the un/not rewired guys.
Also, there are many proponents here of the "do nothing" route to rewiring. If the key to becoming rewired is to do nothing, to relax, to go limp into the feelings, to clear your mind, to focus, etc, why are kegels important to guys who are pusuing the rewiring. I know that pelvic floor muscles do benefit all types of sexual activity including regular ejaculation and intensity of regular orgasms, but why are kegels beneficial to those seeking to be rewired.
Thanks for input here.

@turnrow, ive never done kegals and not sure how important they are to aneros use if at all, but the thinking is that by strengthening those muscles will help with the involuntaries which are necessary for prostate massage. The do nothing approach still uses your involuntary muscle twitching to move the massager.

Kegel excercises may help as well to develop anal / perineal sensitivity as it did for me during my year of practice.

IMHO, I think Kegel exercises are part of whole body care. The pelvic floor is often over looked and we tend only to use some of the muscles for sex from time to time. The Kegel exercises in moderation flood the area with new blood thus improving the tone. Within that area there is also the BC muscle that is the inner bulb of the penis this can be isolated and exercised. The sphincters muscles also need to be refreshed with fresh blood. I have found my 'rrhoids have diminished considerably by improving the local health and general body health. Like using a cross-trainer or treadmill which is also very good for the prostate. For the do nothing mode, the Kegels would be done at another time or as a preparation to the relaxation part. The whole body care is critical to a healthy brain.

good points @isvara, i tend to think those muscles dont need much, but you make a good arguement for kegels, especially as we age.
