Curiously, about two months ago, I started Tai Chi for fighting problems I'm having with balance! It is helping somewhat. I'm not able to get into it as much as I would like because back problems prevent me from enduring more than about 15 minutes at a time. But they tell me stories such as of one person taking it up as part of a recovery plan from a rather severe, debilitating stroke. He did very well, they tell me.
