Joy and Curse of New Experiences

So something that I've struggled with during my Aneros journey is after I reach new sensational heights, it takes a significant amount of time to have that experience again.  You know those experiences that literally take your breath away when you get them for the first time.  Like the first time you get involuntary contractions, and they catch you so off guard that you don't know how to process everything.

What usually happens with me is that I become fixated on recreating those feelings, and get into a chasing mode.  Over the years I've gotten better at not chasing, and focusing on a mindset of "whatever becomes of this session is exactly as it should be."  But there is still this internal mind noise that wants to get back to that spot.

I am grateful that I have had these experiences.  I now regularly, if not always, quickly get into a zone where the involuntary contractions take over.  This builds to mild cascades of pleasurable feelings radiating out from my prostate.  And more often than not I'm able to experience some form of orgasm, some being revolving doors of repeating orgasms, others being a feint whisper from across the room.

But there are two experiences that have only occurred once each.  And it's maddening that they haven't happened again.  It is equal parts frustrating and a major factor in my arousal for an Aneros session.

The first of these 2 ever elusive sensations can only be described as a bucket of liquid pleasure being dumped over the body.  It almost reminds me of the Ice Bucket Challenge that swept the internet by storm a number of years back.  This was a flood of pleasure starting at the crown of the head, running down the spine into the gut, and then shooting out through the tips of the fingers and toes.  Simply amazing.  A true "take your breath away" moment.

The second one was an extremely intense pleasure enveloping the Aneros on all sides.  It was so strange, as it was like my insides turned into a liquid state and the Aneros was just bouncing in every direction.  I could feel every slight curve and variation of the Aneros, along with the sensations of it moving in/out up/down left/right, but all happening simultaneously, seemingly defying the laws of physics.

These two experiences I've yet to have occur during any other session.  On one hand, these create so much fuel for my sessions.  A real "I have seen the peak, and it is good" kind of mindset.  I know what's out there and have experienced it first hand.  But damn can it be frustrating when it doesn't happen again.  Only one thing to do at the end of the day though, reflect and run it again.

If there's one thing I've learned in my years, is that there is always another peak behind by the peak you're currently climbing.  But the kicker is that the peak you're climbing is obscured by fog, so you never really know when you'll get there, so you might as well look at the flowers along the path on the way up.

I hope that makes sense.

Anyway, thanks for reading if you've made it through.

I thought I knew.

Wow, @NuclearGamer, I guess, what you just described is really exceptional. Already overwhelmed by my own experiences and again and again surprised by what still is yet to come, your report again opened my eyes even wider only getting a slight idea how rich this realm we entered must be.

Thanks a lot, Mart

There are experiences I've had once and never again, even after years. It's one of the most bizarre things about all of this. I knew sessions had their own characters, but I didn't expect the peak experiences to vary so extremely.

@NuclearGamer, now let‘s rethink your „looking at the flowers at your path“.

What if you would have sticked to your former already overwhelming experiences? Could these latest exceptional feelings have happened?

Letting go instead might mean letting even these most exciting experiences behind us to open up for the next best that is yet to come.

If we get blinded by the light of the last flower at our path, perhaps we will oversee the next flower which is much smaller, although it may be more adorable than anything we‘ve ever seen before?

That right there is the balancing act that this all is.  It's a very delicate thing.  You have to be aware of the feelings you're experiencing in the moment, all while staying energized and in anticipation of the next potentially bigger thing, but not focusing too much on either.

Past, Present, Future.....all in perfect balance.  It's when one get's unbalanced that we get stuck.

Funnily enough I just stumbled upon Peter Gabriel‘s quote about his song „Solsbury Hill“ (1977):

It's about being prepared to lose what you have for what you might get ... It's about letting go.

Damn, I couldn't have said it any better myself... This is exactly where I am after experiencing beyond intense peaks in the first week I had the Super-O. Still trying to learn and continue this journey and expand my mind to allow for the journey onward.

Solid thread and great insight from everyone! Since so much of this is mental, having a variety of different analogies and examples to describe the experience is one of the greatest tools we have, and the more people share them, the greater the chance that someone else goes: "Hey, I get that too!".

So, that liquid feeling? I get that too and its wonderful! It starts from the abdomen and washes over me, but it doesn't exit anywhere, just sloshes back when it reaches the extremities. I don't get it often, which is an even greater reason to really enjoy it when it happens.

I agree with this.

i think that memorable life changing experiences are special because they are unique. I think this applies to many things in life, not just sexuality. An incredible party, concert, vacation, friendship, relationship... why wish to recreate what happened, which will certainly lead to disappointment, when there are infinite possibilities for the future?

It is certainly healthier to say to oneself: those things happened, they were awesome and I am so happy I got to experience them. How can I create a path that attracts new highs?

I think creativity and curiosity are the keys for unlocking new experiences.

Affirmative, I also think, childlike playfulness and living in and for the moment are further keys.

@sowithoutaneros I'm right there with you brother, I had some earth shattering experiences a month ago, and now it's almost nothing.

Our experiences are running in parallel, I like you are confident that the good times will roll again.

Wishing you well on your journey.

a bucket of liquid pleasure being dumped over the body.

Thank you for your description bringing an awesome hypnosis file of suggestive power to mind I once listened to when quite addicted to what "ShibbySays". It deals with liquid latex running over your body and making you feel good ... Your remark just made me listen to that audio file again - for exciting 45 minutes - (NSFW) revealing how deep those triggers once were set and that they still can give me lustful shudders.

So, if you can deal with some femdom, it may give you some similar elusive moments like I just felt happy to enjoy again.

If you only want to sneak a peek at it, the specific scene I mean, begins at 15'18" "... seeing in the middle a black glow, a lake of liquid latex. You are drawn to it. The sound, that binds your will, comes from it, promising release ..."
If you instead want to "go deeper", perhaps better read her Wiki (1st link above) and listen to her introductionary files first. 😉

After all I can tell that envisioning that mixture of latex and vibes covering my body still is one of my fastest and easiest ways to get aroused highly in no time.

Cheers, Mart
