Is urge to pee sign of contact?

Sorry to recreate a topic, but perhaps I could have worded the title better. I was wondering if a stronger sense of needing to urinate was a sign of more contact with the prostate? I was giving the Progasm a try (I usually use the Helix Syn since the Syn is more comfortable) and I had a stronger feeling of needing to urinate than usual. I also had to take the device out to completely empty my bladder of the last 10% of it's contents.

Hi @jspad, it rather may be a sign for pressure on your bladder, which is situated right behind your gland, why I would suggest to pull your Progasm out a tiny bit. Cheers, Mart

@sowithoutaneros hmm... Ok, thanks. I'll keep experimenting with the Progasm for now, maybe the Vice (that's the big silicone one the the vibrator slot, right?) and see what happens.

@aneros_user88299 I have a Helix Syn, Progasm Jr., and a Progasm.  I definitely have to take pee breaks much more often with the Progasm than the other two.  As @SOwithoutAneros, it's just big enough to also be pressing on the bladder.  Sometimes, I ride out that urge to pee and find that it's more a build-up to an orgasm.  Your mileage may vary, of course, but if you've recently emptied your bladder during a session and feel that urge again, you might want to stick with it and see what happens.  (And be ready in case it really was more pee!)

@lexcubg I have no problem simply getting up and going to the restroom before continuing, but yes I think it may be that the Progasm is just big enough to also push against the bladder. I compared the size of it to that of the Vice, and the Vice isn't quite as long. I'd like to try that one next time as it may be much more comfortable being made of silicone.

@jspad I had a realization during a session yesterday with the Progasm about the need to pee.  For me, anyway, it happens because of retrograde ejaculation.  I kept having seriously powerful orgasms yesterday and while it felt intensely like I needed to ejaculate, it simply wasn't happening.  Don't get me wrong--I love a good (okay, several good) dry orgasm, but sometimes my penis wants to get in on the action.  In spite of this, though, I never achieved an erection (even at the end when I was trying for a super-T).  I felt the urge to pee again, even though it hadn't been 15 or 20 minutes since I last peed.  So I go to the toilet and after I finally get relaxed enough, I look down and realize that I'm peeing but it's mostly made up of jizz.

Two things from this experience that I'm taking into the next session.  First, I really believe that (for me) the Progasm fills me up to the point of making it very difficult to get an erection.  I know some guys can take anything up their ass and still get hard, but I've never been wired that way.  (I've had to explain to guys who were fucking me that the lack of an erection did not mean they should stop what they were doing.  And even when I'm just getting horny, I usually leak a ton of precum before I ever get hard.). Second, the pee feeling later in a session, especially if it's not been long since I peed, probably just means I've gotten some ejaculate in my bladder.  I'm going to try either a session in an empty bathtub or with plenty of towels down so I can avoid worrying about getting piss everywhere.  I think being able to completely let go of that worry may help my brain figure out when those pee feelings are really about needing to pee and when they are about ramping up the pleasure that much more by knowing that I've jizzed but not really jizzed.

For me I think it's simply that the Progasm was either pushing aggressively against the prostate or probably more likely was it was pushing the bladder a bit higher up.

Retrograde ejaculation isn't something I have experienced from Aneros sessions, and I've never had any orgasms strictly from non-penile stimulation. I think that it's better than I stick with something more comfortable anyway, as the Progasm gets uncomfortable before too long due to its size. I just prefer the silicone Helix Syn, and I think staying relaxed more might be important.
