Hi to all the experts, more experienced users....
I have only had this neat little device (progasm) just over a week, and have made some good and exciting progress, but don't know if I have hit a roadblock, ( for past 3 sessions) or have already reached the finish line. If someone could please advice.
After about 40 minutes into a session, I can get the process going to the point where my whole body starts to shake vigorously, and my penis can get extra hard too, and my stomach contracts in a very hard manner, and at this point I really can't control my breathing, which is more like gasping for air, and then my new little back door friend either starts to come out, or comes out all together, and I have little control over that either at this point in the session.
Don't get me wrong, the entire experience is pleasurable, but at that point of my peak contractions, if I continue it, it just does the same thing, and my stomach starts to hurt, like I've been doing crunches for 15 minutes straight, and it becomes physically tiring, and it becomes less pleasurable...... There is no sense of relief, or waves of blissful energy that I have read about, just waves of pressure and shaking...... I understand that I won't have a traditional ejaculation with the big relief to follow.
Am I just needing more practice to get to the final level, or is that as good as it gets for many people?
Thank You - Joel
PS I know my breathing needs work, and I am still a bit confused as to how to do it correctly.
I had this in the beginnings - note my nickname, which is no longer relevant. You will get used to these feelings and learn to submit, give in. What helps is using positions that physically restrain you a little. For example when I do session on my back I like to put my hands beneath my ass. Not only this gives me more control because I can support my ass higher or lower, but it stops my arms from violently shaking.
Is there another level, or is this my Super O?
Congratulations on the rapid progress of your journey and remember this is an evolutionary journey. Trying to define levels in this journey is like trying to demarcate colors in the light spectrum, yes there are differences but it is a continual gradation along an orgasmic continuum and each Anerosession can find you anywhere along that continuum. You may have had a Super-O already, which is great but be aware that future sessions are likely to be different, each a unique experience unto itself. You have embarked upon a journey with no definitive destination, there is no "finish line" to cross, there are only alternate flavors of pleasure to be experienced.

IMHO, you need to learn to relax your body more and ride the orgasmic energy and "Just Let Go !". I suspect you (like most newbies) are holding muscular tension just as you probably do in traditional masturbation practice. This tension is part of what triggers the uncontrollable muscle tremors during orgasm. When you learn to relax more and let that tension go you will more fully experience the pleasure waves rolling through the orgasm instead of the fatiguing muscle spasms releasing their tension during the orgasm. I'm glad you are aware of the hormonal cascade which follows ejaculation, dry orgasms by-pass that effect.

For some men, their first Super-O is as good as it gets, for others their first Super-O may go unnoticed and they keep advancing until they distinctly know they have had a Super-O. Even if your first Super-O is your best you will never know for sure, I don't think there is any "...final level,". Practice will refine your technique, making future Super-O's more likely and it's a healthful exercise. Good Vibes to You !
Rumel, and "airbag", Thanks very much for the feedback, I have been really excited about this new found experience, and it definitely takes learning and patience! ........... I will practice and just let go more!....... Rumel, I really like your explanation of the colorful journey ahead. 🙂

Hey @Joel1234 ,
@rumel is never short of giving the most insightful answer and thus practically closing the thread. Anyway... I'll throw in my wisdom as well.

You can't deal with absolutes here. One of the great things of this journey is, that only sky is the limit.. quite literally. There is always room to reach even higher states of orgasmic bliss, regardless of the current orgasmic state you are in. That doesn't mean, that every session will be better than the one before, but quite regularly, you get surprised by some extra remarkable or spectacular orgasms... even after years of anerosing. I would say, the only physical limit is reached when an orgasms lets you pass out (happend to me only once yet).
If you like to get more entangled with ideas of what a Mini-O, Dry-O or Super-O may feel like, I suggest my entry in the "My First Super Orgasm"-Thread. It's a long read, so maybe you want to skip to the second part where I share my thoughts on the different types of orgasms.

Hey @Joel1234 ,
I feel like I am experiencing the same thing as you are. I can pretty regularly get to the point where my body starts to shake and my abdominal muscles are contracting to the point of fatigue. It feels nice, but not like I am peaking towards anything. I wish I had some guidance for you, but I don't. I look forward to hearing a bit of what others might have to say.
Actually, I did try an Aneros session recently while listening to Mistress Shibby's erotic hypnosis tracks (Maybe Clench, not sure) and felt a different sensation to where the vibrations were moving horizontally through my pelvis, as if they were centered around my prostate, instead of vertically up through my body. This felt really good, but lead to the same body shaking and abdominal clenching. I guess focusing on relaxing all of my muscles like @rumel mentioned above will be a good thing to focus on.
Good answers here, but just another data point....
Don't bother trying to figure out what a Super O is or isn't. The best answer I heard was that orgasms are like different colors of light on a spectrum. You can distinguish different colors and call this shade of green "Green" but there are lighter and darker ones, and then you just pick another point to say it's a different color. Orgasms are like that.
When I first started (also with Progasm) I was convinced I knew what was a super o and what was a regular o. But over the last two years, there's been at least 4 or 5 sessions where it was something just out of this world that blew away what I was considering a super o before. So my definition of it changes as I get more experience. Maybe the bar is getting raised higher 🙂
For me, I'll call it a super o if it has these characteristics:
- I'm orgasming really hard and can't stop it
- the orgasm lasts at least 2 minutes
- if im stroking my cock (which i usually do during a session), then while im orgasming im orgasming so hard that there is almost no risk of ejaculating because my muscles are contracting so dam hard. i can stroke as hard as i want.
(recently, was stroking myself and fingering my butt a bit after using a few toys. That lead to one of the best super o's ive ever had. don't usually finger my butt cause it's an uncomfortable position and can't fully relax, but plan on doing that more now!)
Hello gents
I'm in the same place, I need to get past the uncontrollable and crazy whole body shakes which I don't find that pleasant. I've been using a helix for a couple of weeks and made steady progress but bought a progasm yesterday and tried it for the first time just now. It took about three minutes for the shakes to start, which were very violent, so I took it out and rested. It's back inside me now and I'm trying to control the shaking but without much success. Thanks for the tips in the above thread and I'll keep on reading through the forum in search of more advice. I'm loving the progression though and never thought that my body would react to anything in this way.
Cheers
H
I like Jack Johnson's description of multiple orgasm as being like a fractal - there are infinitely numerous paths you can go down.
When I started this my whole body was shaking uncontrollably with an orgasm, it never does that any more, and in some ways I miss that because it felt so 'out of control' and exciting. At the moment I now feel a slow build of tension in my pelvis as I orgasm, it can be pleasant, or it can be frustrating, I'm not sure what that is all about; I'm hoping it's a new type of orgasm that is going to surprise me when I'm ready for it, but who knows.
The experience changes with time and there is no predicting where it's going to go next, all you can do is look for the next branch of the fractal and explore it.
Congrats Joel!
You state a few interesting things:
- "only had this neat little device (progasm) just over a week"
- "if I have hit a roadblock, ( for past 3 sessions) or have already reached the finish line"
- "I can get the process going"
I truly hope you've reached your SO, but the above comments make me think there's too much control and expectations being set.
As stated before, this is a Journey, so a week's worth of learning with the described results are truly amazing and I am jealous. However, don't lose sight that there is so much more to learn about your body and this Journey. Go explore.
This leads me to point 2, this is a Journey- there is not a defined finish line like in a wet orgasm - a clear over the cliff moment followed by a refractory period which is a confirmation that you came. My experience with Aneros says there is no cliff moment but rather waves of intensity - like being in a row boat as a storm increases the wave amplitudes.
Thirdly, 'getting the process going' sounds like you are using contractions - have you tried the do-nothing technique to see where that leads you? At a minimum, it may put you on a different path altogether.
My years of learning has peaks and plateaus as well as troughs, but one thing for certain, there are so many different ways to enjoy and experience this Journey .
Have you tried experiencing different models and positions? That can change it up nicely.
And finally, and frankly, I would be saddened to learn I've reached the finish line.
Enjoy the Journey!
