I would encourage you to buy one but if you do, please be sure to give yourself a reasonable chance for success by learning all you can about the process as discussed on this Forum.

Is it really worth it?

The value of anything is a very subjective matter and will vary greatly between any two individuals. For me, these little pieces of silicone covered plastic are worth every penny for the personal pleasure they enable me to experience. For you, they may not be worth it at all if they don't meet with your expectations. There's really no way we can determine if an Aneros is going to be of any value to you, only you can make that judgement.

Unfortunately, probably not ! Every man reacts differently to prostate massage and massagers. It's probably just a quirk of your genetic makeup. There is some good news here however, your ability to derive pleasure from these massagers is not dependent on the erectile state of your penis. While the physiological mechanisms for this phenomenon are not well understood, the anecdotal evidence is overwhelming for the truth of that statement.
Good Vibes to You !

@Leptitcomique YES, it's really worth a try!!

If erection is the only way you measure success, you may be somewhat disappointed, since erection is not necessarily always part of the picture. On the other hand, if you have the patience required, practice and follow the advice of those who went before you, chances are you will discover a whole new universe of pleasurable sensations.

You have alreday taken one of the most important steps when you posted your question here. There's no reason whatsoever to hesitate. If you haven't already decided on a particular model, there are guides here in the forum, and a lot of people who will help you with answers to any questions you may have about chioce of model or any other topic.

Welcome to a whole new world of pleasure!

There is no one guide, as the aneros non vibrating massagers are all used in the same manner (except the Peridise). Read the links rumel sent you. If you are French (j’imagine que c’est le cas vu ton pseudo) read this treaty thoroughly:

Especially if you already enjoy anal play and have experienced prostate orgasm you owe it to yourself to experience aneros! I came late to the experience, and even later to aneros, and nothing compares to the absolute bliss of aneros!

Then get the helix. As you can see in the traité d’aneros as well as the guides suggested by this forum, the choice of toys is personal, amongst all of the non vibrating ones. The helix is most recommended for beginners, I believe, and for experienced users it is wonderful as well, so you can’t go wrong with it. Whether it is right for you depends on if you spend the time and energy to make it happen, and you won’t know in until you try it and make a sincere effort to find pleasure in it. That is, really read a lot, apply learned methods in a calm relaxed environment, listen to your body, etc (it’s all in the literature!).

As for erections, I, like many others on this forum, am capable of having very strong orgasms (the strongest of my life) with a completely flaccid penis, through the use of these toys.
