Is classic ever better than trident?

I started my journey with the Maximus classic. Once I got the trident version, I haven’t used the classic again. I also have helix trident, eupho trident, and progasm. Does anyone with both versions still use, or even prefer, the classic series?

@Maximus1217 I love your name! the Max is my favorite Aneros toy 🙂

I enjoy them all, they are not the same! The Maximus Trident (MT) is very very good. Some might say it's an "improvement" on the Maximus Classic (MC). But, I didn't see any reason for the MC to be improved. It worked its ass off in my ass for sure! The sensations the MC and MT bring are different to me. The way the toys move in me is different. Both toys bring me to orgasm at different speeds and intensities. My Super Os don't feel the same between them.

I suggest that in your next session, start with the MT and then after you feel like you might not be able to get any more from it, move to the MC and see what happens. Then in your next session, reverse the order. Or, start with the Helix trident and then move to the MC and see. Or, vice versa. You'll find that if you allow your body to become attuned to the Trident, really any model, and then use any of the classic models (but ESPECIALLY if the classic is the same kind as the trident) and you'll feel exactly what's different about them, and if you are having Os from Aneros toys, you should feel the difference between the Trident and Classic lines.

I can't say I "prefer" the classic series over the trident line. My sessions vary every single time I have one. I have never repeated a session. If I used 4 toys last session, my next might be just 2 or maybe 7 toys. Even if I choose the same toy/s for each session, I'll swap the order. Or, I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing during a session and I'll use the same toy 3 times at various times and not be in control of my decisions!!!! (I call this phenomenon "Prostate-brain" where my ass does the thinking and my body just moves in accordance lol.)

I guess I should ask: do you only stick to one toy a session? If so, how do your sessions end? If you only use one toy, had you tried multiple toys in other earlier sessions? If so, how was it?

Thanks for your questions I think the forum benefits from what you asked. The Trident line, I believe, is currently and will be reshaping in the future what prostate orgasms are, how they are produced, and how they are different from all pre-Trident orgasms. I know they are making me go through this questioning!! They are also helping to reshape my sexuality and threshold for pleasure.

@Maximus1217 I only have one Trident model now, the Helix. I am still in the "learning curve" with it but the sessions are getting better all the time! I don't have Helix Classic anymore but had my very first Super-O with it! I have four other "classic" models (HIH 950, Eupho, SGX and MGX) and use them all in rotation. I would agree that the Tridents "move" differently than the classic models but that is not to say that they cannot yield impressive orgasms. My personal opinion is: one prostate, many toys! A nice variety of Aneros massagers is what I like, Classic and Trident!

@techpump thanks! The MC was my first aneros so I thought it was only fitting to use that for my forum handle! I like your suggestion to switch from MC to MT in the same session. I’ve switched mid session from HT to MT a few times but that’s it, and the difference between those is clear. I typically like to give one a chance to work the full extent of its magic, so switching it up is usually only when I have more than an hour to give. I only recently got the progasm and ET. Now I’m having trouble deciding what I’m in the mood for!

@goldenboy, I completely agree! The more the merrier. It’s amazing how different they really can be. I’ll hold on to my MC for now, I’m just going to have to do a lot more “research”!

UPDATE: I finally got around to trying the classic series Maximus after months of exclusively using trident series models. Wow! It is definitely different and just as good still. Since the classic only has one pivot point, it seems to want to push itself up and forward harder than the trident. It was intense and made me remember why it was the model I learned and rewired with! Be sure to keep your classics as you delve into the trident models!

Its interesting that MC is still more aggresive on the prostate (in a good way). I wonder if the MC or MT would be easier to rewire with from scratch. Obvious stimulation is often needed for beginners (MC). But the self centring and increased motion of tridents certainly can't hurt.

Anyway. @Maximus1217 What I wanted to ask, do you see any differences between the bodies of the two Maximus models? I only own the more recent. You mentioned not noticing any before, wondered if that had changed.

Unlike every other trident model it DOESN'T seem asymmetrical. Which begs the questions "What did they change other than the k-tab?" and "How is it supposed to instigate lateral movement?" (MAMA).
