Has anyone experienced lower intestinal discomfort or even intestinal virus symptoms during or after Aneros usage? I am wondering if contracting and long periods of aneros insertion can build up pressure in your lower rectum and cause any issues. I have had a couple intestinal virus like symptoms after my last two Aneros sessions, not sure if it was coincidence or not. Can you get a bacterial infection from the aneros or possibly the lube? I have not seen this topic discussed and was just putting it out there.

Are you cleaning everything? Is your rectal douche dry (Ie not sitting around collecting bacteria) when you finish using it? Are you using lube with glycerin (that really irritates some people, me included, with a purgative effect)?
