So it seems that i get/got internal irritation with the original unpolished plastic.

I use the same lube with the progasm jr and progasm ice and do not have the issue. ive tried both water and silicone lube.
I don’t have a syn.

anyone else get that? If so, what did you do about it? I would rather not have to use a condom.
I had to return the 3 I bought because of this issue.

Most of mine are the original plastic and I have experienced the same thing. I recently switched to Shea butter and olive oil and that has made all the difference.

Different lube or lube combo could do the trick as @reddog152 pointed, also this plastic material is pretty easy to polish with some basic supplies even if you don't have much experience, it takes surprisingly little time to do so and will make a difference even if you don't get it to a mirror finish. Is that something you'd be ready to try?

I don’t usually have too much trouble with irritation, but my bum did get pretty irritated from my last session when I used the MGX...I think this might have come from the ridges at the base. Has anyone else had issues with the ridges on the MGX?

@7sdoor

I've always wondered about those ridges.  When I look at that model I always think 'no way'.

You know, the ridges can feel pretty good in the moment, but sometimes, the next day you are paying for it...haha!

Hehe if I could un-buy an Aneros product, it would be the SGX! I wanted to like it, the shape seems so fine, but the ridges... one day I'll make it work, (and it will probably involve some files and sandpaper), until that day I give it a shot 2-3 times a year but sadly can't make it work.

My eupho trident irritates me on the outside because of the rigidness of its arms, but not on the inside. I don’t last very long with it as a result: 30 minutes at best.

Do you mean the MGX? If so I’m surprised anyone could feel discomfort from it. I barely feel the ridges on that one, unless I’m doing something right, then it’s nice.

I have two plastic and one syn model.  Personally, I like the feel of theplastic models more and the burning I used to get I learned was from water based lubes. I tried a ton of different brands but still had issues.   I switched to Shea and walnut oil years ago and as @reddog152 mentioned....problem solved.  As far as the ridges on the mgx, it was my first model.  With no comparison it was not until I bought the helix did I fully appreciate a model without them.   I think they may help you control the movement better when you are first learning to use your sphincter and pc muscles but that’s about it.  An Aneros with training wheels if you will. Lol
