INTENSE electrical BUZZING and seizures throughout my entire body, what is this?

Today I decided to pick up where I left on my journey, and I had the strangest thing happen to me. I don't know whether I should call it progress or not, but it was definitely weird, and scary. After one hour I started feeling this slight tingling sensation in my fingers, nothing too severe. I started to feel som pleasure and I started to breath heavily. The tingling sensation in my fingers grew, I now felt a profound BUZZ in my hands which was moving up my arms. Started feeling it in my legs too.

After 5-10 minutes the buzzing was INTENSE, I'm not kidding. By this time I felt it all through out my body, even on my face. I started getting dizzy and now my fingers started to "seizure" (they turned inwards as they do for people who have epileptic seizures... only thing I could think of) but I could still control them to some degree. By this time I was scared as hell. My heart was pounding, felt as if I was about to have a panic attack.

I decided enough is enough, so I pulled out the Aneros and tried to calm my self down, praying to god this buzzing would go away.

What on earth was that? If that was I full body Super-O, I'd feel as if I'd been fooled. I wouldn't call that pleasure, just an INTENSE BUZZ. Please tell me that was something else! Did I do something wrong? I have encountered a mild version of this before but I stopped before it got out of hands. Have I reached the end of my journey or is this another obstacle to get over?

Thanks//

@JoeCrix84 , a few days into my journey (December-ish), I experienced a "buzzing" all over my body... it started slow, built to a hum, stayed awhile and then very slowly faded. It was not intense tingling like pins and needles, but more like a vibrator on low. I was not alarmed because It woke me from slumber and actually felt good. I've never had it since - just the one time... I like to think of it as an awakening.

I'm not sure if you had a version of that or something different. I have a pinched nerve in my neck, and when it's under pressure I get aching (bad) pins and needles in the back of my hands and it goes up my arms... I have excercises I can do to receive it.

check out the wine and see "butt buzz".
also, where you lying or sitting in a normal (for you) position?
what were you doing earlier in the session and earlier in the day?
how long have you been off the journey before returning?

Yeh, it's freaky isn't it! I've had it take over too, in my legs, back, neck, face, and muscles in my jaw and around my teeth I never had been aware even existed. What's fun is getting the facial muscles to sync up with groin and leg muscles. What's wasn't so much fun is when I got so worried with my back going into spasms in bed, aless, that I had a hard time getting to sleep.

But I'm past that, relaxing into the ecstasy instead, knowing now that I've not triggered a nightmare.

The only thing I haven't had go wild is my fingers and arms. I'm ready for hints how to set them free to join the fun!

@JoeCrix84 reading your post made me think of this video. (Its a Barbara Carrellas youtube vid, nothing too sordid) Particularly her mentioning of finger tingling/cramps.

Though I've never had full body experiences like yours, I have suffered from panic attacks before. Personally, there is a kind of fear centric thought process that feeds off of physical sensations when having or approaching a panic attack. I'll assume whatever I can feel is a sign of something going horribly wrong! Which only further feeds into the worry.

I encourage you to find reasons for the specific sensations you are feeling. Reasons at least strong enough that you yourself can believe them (be they scientific and/or spiritual). That way next time this starts up you can PROACTIVELY reassure yourself, feel more aware and in control.

If there is someone trustworthy and open you can speak to, face to face, about your experiences, that may well ease the underlying fear and guilt that are bubbling up when you dive headlong into such a profound (yet emotionally vunerable) state.

Honestly your experiences are fascinating despite being clearly stressful. I hope that as your sessions continue the fear will fall away, leaving only crazy awesome orgasms 🙂

Thank you @Kazama for contributing to this matter, and sorry for my super duper delayed reply, my bad... I think I've found the reason for why this happen, though I'm not sure, but it appears to have something to do with hyperventilation. If it's the case, it would make sense since when I start to feel something, I begin to hyperventilate or breathe heavily without thinking about it. The tingling sensations begin thus making me more excited which causes me to hyperventilate or breath heavily even more which eventually leads to tetany, which she talks about in the video you posted. I'm no scientist, but It sounds like a plausible explanation. Read this for further info (if anyone's interested):

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4173627 /">Cramps and tingling: A diagnostic conundrum

Tetany a syndrome of sharp flexion of the wrist and ankle joints (carpopedal spasm), muscle twitching, cramps and convulsions, sometimes with an attack of stridor, is due to hyperexcitability of nerves and muscles caused by decreased extracellular ionized calcium. Hyperventilation secondary to anxiety can result in tetany. We report a case of hyperventilation induced tetany 2 h following spinal anesthesia for inguinal hernia repair.

Wow great post. I read that like I can relate to every word! I've experienced this too a few times. Also the hyperventilation makes sense as I was breathing more intense than I have ever done before. My breathing built up just like an orgasm, my fingers cramped up. My whole body was buzzing, I thought this was a super O, but I think it's a different kind of pleasure, I still enjoy the feeling of pure bliss and feel so relaxed after it though.

This was with my classic helix. What did you use? Also what lube?

Thank you for sharing!

I had experienced it multiple times in the past. After watching the video, I'm glad that it's harmless
