Hey - you probably don't remember me, but I'm in the awkward situation of living with a parent (while I'm at uni, it works out a lot cheaper this way. We're pretty poor) in a small flat where she has irregular working hours such that I don't think I could get it mailed in without being at risk. Additionally, there doesn't appear to be any place in London selling the aneros.
I'm just wondering, does anyone know if the aneros has been rolled out to more offline retailers recently? If a retailer has an outlet in the London area, I'd actually be able to finally get this thing.
(And hey again to anyone who does remember me)
Anon17564,
I am aware of two locations, one in Blackpool and the other in a town in Cheshire, Macclesfield. Both of these are quite a distance north of London however. I am still checking to see if there is a physical location in London proper. There might be two other alternatives to check into as well. First, in some cities in the United States it is possible to have packages sent directly to a post office and held in your name. This is often available without having to open up a post office box. Look into this with your post office and see if this is possible. The other method involves having an understanding friend take delivery for you. If either of those methods are available to you, go to : Welcome to LoveHoney - UK Sex Toys. If you can hold off until next November you can always buy the product directly from the manufacturer at Erotica U.K. at Olympia ! They've exhibited there for the last several years.

I actually looked into having it dropped off at the post office, but they claimed that service isn't available. I'd heard from other sources that it is, but I'm not about to argue that with them 😛
I'm 19 and still pretty dependent in a lot of ways, I wouldn't be able to go as far as where you suggest and this is in fact the stumbling block I ran into last time I tried 😛 Also, I tried talking about this with a friend of mine who's very open about it... but appears to have some double-standards (pegging = okay, but anything like this is just "sad") so I don't feel very comfortable about asking anybody else.
Thanks for the help, but it seems unlikely I'll have the product at least until I move out. Is not so bad, I'm a patient man.
Anon17564,
A friend who's into pegging but has problems with self prostate stimulation! Hmmm?
Another thought, do you have any day of the week when you're certain of being home to receive the mail delivery yourself? LoveHoney has a delivery option that allows you to choose a specific delivery day (excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays). (A cover story, about expecting something by post wouldn't hurt in case you were seen walking in the door with a box.) You might schedule it for a day when everyone is away. Outside of that I would suggest that you give LoveHoney a call. They are really nice people and they have several delivery options that are sensitive to such situations. While you're on the phone with them you might ask if they have a relationship with a "brick and mortar" shop in London where your order might be "drop shipped". LoveHoney does operate a wholesale business as well so who knows. It won't cost you anything to check it out.
Erotica UK in November at is a last resort. It's at Olympia (I think that's in Kensington). Aneros will be there with the entire product line.
Cheers,

The idea of pegging kindof scares me. I mean, a strap-on could generate a lot of thrusting force, plus you're using an inflexible implement that doesn't give any sensory feedback. I'm not into anal sex anyway, but that certainly illustrates your point about the double-standard: 1) from a health POV, the Aneros offers a lot of benefits, while pegging (if done carelessly) could be potentially harmful; 2) I doubt your friend is opposed to masturbation; so why would other forms of self-pleasure be "sad?"
Anyway, good luck to you!

My friend is a self-acknowledged hypocrit. Doesn't matter to me, as I'm a sarcastic smartarse so I can't complain at all.
I feel I'd likely be too paranoid to trust a friend with this now anyway, after that. If I can get a chance to think more seriously about storage and how to get this without it showing up on a bank statement, I'll likely do it.
How much are lockboxes these days? I could get one of them and stick it under my bed.
There is a good way to store your device with little or no chance of it being found by Mum or sister!! "Hey Fred, What the hell's this thing"!!!! Die man.die! You have a rubbish bin in your room? OK. well with a few good pieces of rubbish in there, you can wrap your awful terrible scary secret in another piece of rubbish. Now not likely to be found. No one else should have easy access to your space and you are responsible for doing your own tidying in there. If anyone should go in to clean up, the worst is that it would be put in the trash can!!
I am not making light of this worry. It is very real. Shortly after I was married, I was careless and left a semen soaked handkerchief under my pillow. My wife found it and was very upset. (People were in those days). I died with shame.I'm still dead!! Catholic guilt!!

Lovehoney is the best company to deal with, but you may have to speak to them about payment options
credit/debit cards or some sort of cod.
Hope this helps.
Enigma, you may have just solved my problem.
Now I just need to get myself a lockbox, then build up the balls to go and actually buy it. Thank you all a hell of a lot 🙂
