I have read much and posted a little over my two months of experimenting with my MGX and Helix and I think I just caught on to something I perhaps should have understood earlier. I have been experiencing some extremely pleasurable feelings, progressively more intense, in my sessions and have been following them. I went back and looked at "Beeline" again and it hit me after reading it again that, though the feelings I am chasing are very pleasant, they will not likely lead to where most of the Aneros users seem to be headed - to the Super O. I am checking my revelation here. The nature of the feelings I have been pursuing have been along the lines of how it feels when you get just the right spot when you are scratching an itch - only much more intense. I am thinking now that those sensations are the ones that B. Mayfield indicates are leading toward an ejulatory-type orgasm; albeit a monster-sized one. I think I have blown right by some precursors to the Super O in the process. There are other more subtle, electric field sort of, etherial kinds of sensations that will kind of take my breath away and snap my eyes open wide and I think "Wow, what's coming?" and it will disappear and off I go chasing the scratch of the itch again. Does the latter describe a pre-Super O experience and the former something else; are they all related - or what? Can you tell from my description what is likely to be ocurring? That question aside, the individuality of each of us is amazing to me. I am getting so many positive and interesting types of results as result of Aneros use - from the small muscle conditioning, to the reorientation of how I receive and interpret pleasure, to the types of results people buy suction pumps and all number of medicines and herbal concoctions to achieve - powerful, fuller erections, to better control over when I ejaculate. I am actually a little afraid of the Super O - which, I am sure won't help me acheive one, but I am already boarder-line obsessing without its appearance. I am thrilled with all of the other benefits. It is hard for me to comprehend the rants I have been reading about the product being a dud. It is a real mind blower for me to recognize just how differently each of us experience a similar activity. Diversity!

grateful,
Forgive me for missing this thread, but sometimes it unavoidable with all the traffic in the forum these days. At this point, judging by your comments in a more recent entry, it seems as though you have a handle on it. Congratulations!
While I'm not sure of the comments of mine that you cited (about certain sensations being strictly of an ejaculatory type), in general many different kinds of sensations can consitute a precursor, and yes, many of these sensations can be related. (I think I did compare an oncoming Super O to yawning or sneezing at one time?) I was particularly taken with your comments about "teasing" these feelings. This is a great description, and precisely what you want to be doing. Subtly, gently and observantly teasing.
In terms of the precursors that are good indicators, the one that seems to be signature sensation for me is the experience of a deep surging wave of pleasure in my abdomen. This abdominal/diaphragmatic component is the one that normally differentiates something that is largely confined to pelvic region from a whole body event. As this wave intensifies it seems to rise and spread at the same time. Ultimately these sensations travel into to my chest, head and all my extremities.
In addition to "involuntary" anal/rectal contractions, some of the pelvic precursors involve electric/"tingling" sensations felt inside your penis, anally, perineally and prostatically, often simultaneously. Involuntary contraction of skeletal muscle groups sometimes referred to as myotonia are also common. As with the ejaculatory counterpart there is very often a sense of immenence or that "point of no return" feeling. This often produces a "butterflies" or fluttering sensation in the stomach, chest and pelvis as well.
Finally, as with any kind of orgasm, your arousal itself is a key indicator. With the Super O this is even more so, and the chances are that as it approaches, you may well experience an unparalleled level of arousal, that is more intense than anything you've known before!
With respect to the Super O itself, as the orgasm peaks, one is awash in the blissful waves of an orgasmic rapture and aware of nothing else other than the sensation of intense pleasure. It's euphoria and a true clouding of reality....and then slowly after a minute or so you become aware of a clearing of sorts, one that enables a thought to slip in...and with any luck that thought is..........here it comes again!
BF Mayfield
Thanks, BF, for the response. It is extremely helpful. I had read your "Arousal and Generating Sensations.." in "Beeline", where you constrast powerful preejaculatory sensations with the more subtle sensations that lead to a Super O. The sensations I have been feeling were not subtle at all, so I assumed they must have been leading to an ejaculatory type o. I learned that, for me, they stay more subtle when I "tease", or gently coax, them along rather than when I kind of seize them. I haven't felt those stronger sensations since I quit pushing toward them. With the description in your response, I can say that I am definitely on the "path". This whole process is unique to anything I have pursued. Equilibrium seems to be intermittantly out of reach as I assimilate what I am experiencing. I am noticing two tracks (at least) of development here. The first and easiest is the developmeent of the finer motor skills in a place the doesn't normally receive any such attention, and the second is dealing with my sensory focus ad patience - much more difficult. It is a good thing that the sensations are so promising or I doubt I would have ever put in the effort. Thanks for the input. grateful
