I think I'm doing it wrong

I'm new to all this. I'm in my early 50s, in a marriage where sex isn't a thing anymore. On a whim a few weeks ago, I bought some anal toy, but it was too soft and flexible to really work. Some research led me to Aneros, and I started with the Progasm. About my 4th use, things came together in a pretty exciting way, but not the hands free way. I tried standing with one leg up on a bench or the edge of the tub. Here's where I diverged from the instructions: I manually manipulated the Progasm, and kept at it when the feelings built up. I had a very, very intense orgasm, unlike anything I had experienced before. Anal contractions built up and built up. I ejaculated, but it wasn't semen. It looked like precum, and there was a lot of it! Spurt after spurt after spurt. Incredible. Mind blowing, even. I didn't try for multiples, but was intrigued by the idea that it was possible.

I then got a Lelo Hugo vibrating massager, and used it in the bathtub. Same deal, I ended up not quite feeling it hands free, so I used my hand to apply pressure and kind of fuck myself with it. I ended up losing count after eight distinct orgasms, each with some spurting. The lead up to each orgasm had the feeling that I had to pee, and I relaxed and didn't resist that urge. Initially it seemed like I was spurting precum, then by the last few orgasms it seemed more like urine.

My latest toy is a Eupho Syn, and I really tried the hands free method. It felt good, and I had several of what felt like near-orgasms. I switched back and forth between the Progasm and Eupho, and hands free felt good, but I was missing the mind blowing orgasms. Maybe my expectations are wrong, and I need to embrace the lack of release? I ended up going manual again, and fucking myself to a few climaxes where I seemed to "ejaculate" urine.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure all this out. After going manual, my prostate feels a little abused. I notice that I get little warning when I need to pee - all of a sudden it's urgent to the point of almost pissing my pants. These don't seem normal.

Maybe I just need to exercise some self control and keep my hands to myself. Or rather off of myself.

If any of you more experienced people have some insight on this, I'd love to hear it. I'm pretty excited to have experienced multiple orgasms for the first time, and hope to master this whole deal.

I find less is more when it comes to Aneros, doing nothing but letting the toy tease your prostate gets the best results for me. Like you I have a Lelo Hugo, which I owned before the Aneros toys . It is much more interactive than any Aneros, I find I especially enjoy the orgasms that result when I suddenly cut back the intensity of vibrations from strong to weak!

@Silver King First, welcome to Aneros! You are among caring "friends" here. I'm no expert but I would agree with @Birdlves. Please slow down and take your time! Just as you should keep you hands off your c**k, you should also keep your hands off your Aneros! They are designed to be hands-free and all the "action" is generated by kegels that you initiate. I have other toys (including vibrating ones) that I don't use any more. Take a few steps back, relax, select your Aneros, lie-down and enjoy prostate pleasure! Please keep your expectations to a minimum; the orgasms will come in their own time. Good luck!

@Silver King, sorry, I too think, you are doing it (fully) wrong. Although we all are unique, we all should be aware, that Aneros tools are the opposite of common tools used like a screwdriver, clockwise fasten, ready. The Aneroses are meant as offers, put in appropiate place they give your prostate mind something to play with to give you pleasure. It's a mind thing between your conscious mind and even your subconscious mind giving up control and letting go and your prostate mind to take over and give you pleasure beyond belief. Decades of masturbation and intercourse have trained your consciousness and subconsciousness to find pleasure and relief in ejaculation, providing you some little seconds of orgasm. Now you can change the path and take a new way to endless orgasms even without ejaculation. Only if you learn to distinguish between orgasm and ejaculation and separate the orgasm as a state of bliss independent from ejaculation, you will find your way. I wish you all the best for your journey and that you'll find your unique path.
Btw, anatomically your prostate and your bladder are nearest neighbours. Using your toys like a crowbar you're in danger to harm both sensitive organs seriously. Take care!

Thanks for the feedback. I like the idea of the Aneros being an "offer". I'm now back trying to let the Aneros work the way it's designed to work. It feels good, and I have some kind of involuntary contractions that feel really good. Mini O?

Nobody knows. But your prostate has taken over and it already feels good. Enjoy, let go, let go even any classifying and the best is yet to come! 🙂

if it feels good and you're enjoying yourself, it's not "wrong." Just know that there is a different experience out there when you are ready to explore new things. What I like about the aneros is that it's more calm, meditative, low effort and often high rewards. Active effort at achieving orgasm is kinda a grind, sometimes you have the energy and desire for that and sometimes not. So go for all kinds of experiences I say, as the mood strikes.

When I got my first Aneros it was without research, took it home and worked it manually.... oh man, that turned out to be a mistake for me. I was sore for several days and couldn’t get an erection for a week. I’m normally a read the directions kind of guy, I assumed I knew what I was doing... boy was I wrong! Anyway, glad to hear your slowing down... I found the wiki to be a great source if info to start.
