Here's my two cents...
In many areas of life, looking for something too hard winds up making the seeker miss the objective even when standing on it. My experience with Aneros has been the same way.
At first, I wasn't convinced. Then I decided to just let go and let things happen as they happened. I stopped "checking" every 30 seconds to see if I was "there" yet. I just immersed myself in the experience, and gave up measuring whether the experience matched my expectations.
And you know, I don't know if I've had the "regulation Super O(tm)" or not, and at this point I don't care. I've just reached a point where I like the thing and the way it feels, and the way it enhances sensation.
I realize this approach may not sit too well with others, and that's fine. Once I just relaxed, and let it be, I had a much better time.

You are very cool 🙂
I have felt at times like a Grail seeker. Like my business is seeking the prize more than finding it.
Now I feel the same as you do, I just like it and consider my experiences to be my teacher, this forum to be a source of clues rather than instructions.
I'm happy with my path and my progress, anything which chooses to come my way is good - and man is it good!!
