After going about a week without ejaculating, and maybe 2 weeks without the Aneros, I masturbated normally, only I didn't get much pleasure at all when I came - I ejaculated a fair bit of semen, but there was an uncomfortable, muscular strain sort of sensation in my bladder area.

The next morning I went to the toilet and GOOD GOD, peeing caused a huge stinging sensation that lasted for about an hour and I kept feeling I needed to pee but I could barely squeeze anything out.

Pee later on in the day looked basically like it had semen particles in it.

Sounds like? Yeah, retrograde ejaculation...........

So I tried masturbating just now, and a good volume of semen was ejaculated, however I didn't get a huge amount of pleasure from it, maybe because there was so much there, maybe because I was quite nervous and my mind was on other things.

Afterwards I immediately went to take a urine sample. This time the urine is quite pale, fairly clear but a tad cloudy, there are little floaty particles of probably semen, not a huge amount, but noticable, but I'm not sure how much is natural immediately after ejaculation. There was no pain.

Any ideas? Does retrograde ejaculation ever just happen now and again? I went to the docs the other day for a urine test to be dipsticked, she said she couldn't find anything, but at the time we were thinking of a bladder infection, and that was about 19hours after I had last ejaculated.

anonicos-

i have had retrograde ejac (it was caused by a drug, flomax, that i was on). what you are describing doesn't sound that similar to my experience. .

i think you would have significantly reduced semen. in my case, i had none. it was horrible. the orgasm felt like a retching. all the semen went the wrong way.

caveat: i'm not a doctor.

I really have very little idea of what retrograde ejac would be like so yeah I'm perfectly willing to accept the idea that I'm reading too much into this ^^

It was odd, no doubt, but I did not notice a decrease in the amount of ejaculate and I haven't had any problems with peeing since.

Perhaps it was down to pressure on certain tubes or something at the time, I guess these things occasionally happen?

Ok another little update. Did it again today, and I still felt that something was just... a little... odd somehow, in there. I'm not sure whether it was my state of mind or not, but it also felt somewhat less intense than usual.

Even though I came yesterday, and this morning, a LOT of semen was ejaculated. Wow, a lot must have built up. BUT, I felt like I had to juuust push a little to get it out, it didn't squirt out on it's own like normal, it felt like if I had left it, it wouldn't have squirted, like the squirting muscles weren't intense enough.

Do you think I might have strained the muscles a bit? Stretched the tubes? Should I masturbate regularly now or leave it be for a few days? I don't want the same thing to happen if I leave it... But my libido is way down right now.

anonicos-

i suspect that it doesn't really matter what you do. it will either resolve on its own (by far the most likely) (i repeat, by far the most likely) or it won't.

don't over think it. get immersed in something else. give it a couple of weeks. that is the most effective way to cure most afflictions.

Not sure if it is related, but I have a somewhat similar urinary condition for about 2 years now (way before Aneros), it seems to happen once ever 1-2 months. My urine will turn cloudy (like mixed with semen) and you can see a kind of powder on the bottom of the toilet, it'll sting like crazy for an hour or so, or until the next time I urinate a clear stream, I don't get the having to go badly feeling or troublesome ejaculation though.

Never went to a doctor about it, probably should. I always just thought that it was either dietary, some kind of sperm buildup/leakage, or something to do with broken up kidney stones. I know it's not an infection or STD.

If you get it checked, let me know what happens.

Anonicos,

If this persists, you should probably see your doctor. Cloudy urine and burning with urination suggests an infection, possibly in your bladder, urethra, or prostate.

Wishing you well-

Yep, I agree. If I had such symptoms and burning I'd be at the Dr in an instant. Actually something similar happened to me for a day or so a few years ago, and I did go to the Dr immediately. If it is an infection left untreated it could damage your kidneys and that is no bueno.

yeah, i guess i have to agree too. if the burning, cloudiness and urinary hesitancy persist, it does kind of sound like a urinary tract infection.

I have retrograde ejaculation as the result of prostate surgery.

After orgasm, my urine is NOT cloudy, nor do I see particles of matter in it. The only difference I notice is a slightly foamy film.

As other's have said, the cloudiness and burning suggest a urinary tract infection. Don't hesitate to get this checked out by a doctor. If it really gets established, it can be difficult to treat, and you won't believe how debilitating it is.

Anonicos,

What you've described sounds distinctly like a urinary tract infection to me. The "particles" and "cloudiness" may be ejaculate, but then again it may be pus. If it is the latter, this would be a sure sign of infection. If you are having some difficulty passing urine, then it's pretty clear that there is some inflammation involved as well. While this can be the result of other factors, added together with the appearance of your urine, it makes a visit to your doctor mandatory at this point. I'd make an appointment without further delay.

It is possible that you are experiencing non-bacterial prostatatis and the flocculate that you observed was nothing more than residual ejaculate. Again, a doctor would be the one to make that determination.

If it does turn out to be a urinary tract infection (and you've had no prior history with this before), you would do well to look at your procedures for handling the Aneros and cleaning up afterwards. Given that we're often exposed to small amounts of enteric (fecal) bacteria as a result of our Aneros sessions, it is possible to infect oneself without knowing it. How does this happen? Touching lube that is leaked out of the anus during a session and then touching ones penis thereafter is one way. Oddly, it seems that some men are more suseptible to this kind of infection than others.....I happen to be one of them. Long ago, I started observing strict precautions in handling anything that I'd inserted anally. One such precaution is to designate one hand for inserting, repositioning and removing the Aneros. In this way the other hand is "clean" so if you should choose to touch your penis in order to ejaculate, there is no possibility of cross-contamination occurring.

I've had no cloudiness or pain since, however it does feel like the muscles involved in ejaculation have slowly been recuperating somehow, as if recovering from a strain.

Strength of orgasm is returning but not quite what it was before.

Guess it was a one off, a week from now I expect/hope to be as I was before. I guess this stuff happens.
