I always have really good sessions with the helix syn and Im going on my 15th or so but I end up loosing my excitment befor anything good really happens. What happens is I start showing progress in a half hour to an hour and then I end just damn near falling asleep. So, just wanted some tips to keep my self going for atleast 2 hours. I feel like if I didnt get so bored so quickly I could have some orgasms but still havent. So just shoot me some advice. I enjoy it and all, just want to spice it up.Thanks.

P.S. Tell me about sleeping with the massager in. Is it worth it? I use the Helix Syn

IMHO, if you are able, I would suggest another Aneros model (I have 4) for variety and different feelings and perhaps a set of Peridise for added excitement. I also have a set of silicone anal beads which come out from time to time. Let your body be your guide! It will tell you what it wants! Also, try not to set a timetable for your sessions. Mine now rarely go over an hour, maybe an hour-and-a half tops. Know when to stop!

I got bored trying to do the "do nothing" method. I never connected to anything and tended to fall asleep waiting for something to happen.

I had to make something happen by mentally searching for the interior sensations that the devices can help provide. An Aneros can easily generate sensations when it touches muscles and tissues under some tension. Big contractions are not needed either. Very light tension is best. Then a complete focus on the sensations and moving them around the device and your body. Start with the area between the perineum and the prostate. Look for a feeling of continuous tension, an ache. Think about moving your interior pelvic muscles without actually moving them.

Lastly, commit your mind to arousal connected to this focus on tension and sensation. You will know you are on the right track when an ache presents itself as pleasure. Follow it as long as it is pleasure. Help it build but do not force it. If you lose it, look somewhere else. It will return. Abandon expectations and embrace what does appear.

Perhaps best of all, these sensations can be accessed at any time. When the setting is good and you are comfortable, able to focus and ready, turn your mind inward and begin to play. Gently relax and gently contract. Breath deeply as you do so. Treasure the pleasure.

I agree with the last post; very well said. A 'pleasurable ache' indeed! One thing I have found is to take myself into a 'fantasy' when the arousal starts to build. Sometimes, this is automatic and helps me to stay focused.

Arousal is essential to build the pleasurable form of the ache. Intermittent fantasy visualizations can intensify the sensations without losing overall focus.

After I made this post I went ahead and did my best to make it the best session as possible and I switched things up a bit from what I was doing. Instead of either doing nothing or more of a brute contraction style I did pretty much exactly waht you described there. I used small and naturaly place contractions. I didnt think about what I was doing it just happened! It all was more diferwnt than before, more internal amd deep and I experienced the exact pleasures you described and there is no better way to describe the ache. I had let it build and build until It got to the point where there was nothing left in the session. I wanted more but knew the session was over but this is HUGE progress! I see this as the path to the super O. Or any sort of orgasm, I havent had to experiance any form of one yet, but I know I'm on the right track now. Also, this didnt take much time at all amd I think it is because I was so aroused. I dont know what was diferent but there was just so much more pressure deeper onside of me than usual unlike when I just get used to amd sleepy. Anyways thank you guys

Edit: will time get me over the edge or am I supposed to switch things up once I hit the peak. I just let it happen but it wasnt going iny where for like 25 minutes so i just called it quits for the day.

Alright, so lets say I do achieve some form of orgasm, how would I sustain that more more be relaxed at the same time? To my understanding your whole body stiffens up.

Also, I just now realized no one has addressed my original second question- whats it like to sleep with the device in?

So excellent to hear that you've made such progress. You now have the priceless knowledge of something that works for you. Build upon it and continue to explore your body. Don't expect to repeat what has happened, at least not exactly as it occurred. Every session is a little different. You are learning to play your inner violin. Progress will occur, but it cannot be forced. It gets much easier to assure orgasm in nearly every session.

However, even the O's are different each time and are usually not explosive or wet like a traditional O. The pleasure tends to build unevenly depending on your arousal and focus. You never know when a really big one will occur. When it does, it may happen quickly or build gradually with controlled focus. That is the fun of it all, the excitement and anticipation. I shall not tire of the adventure nor the pleasure and satisfaction.

I have slept with the device several times with nothing to show but a sore anus. Others have had much different results and have been awakened many times by O's. We are as different as our finger prints.

I think you will find plenty of posts on here questioning the wisdom around relaxation and 'forcing' an orgasm. There is is no such thing as an absolute rule. Do whatever works for you bearing in mind that some people need a small amount of tension to generate an orgasm (it's a balance - orgasm is generated when the balance between sympathetic and parasympathetic is just right), and some people claim to be able to force an orgasm.

I would say that mental focus is the most important thing. You have to want to orgasm (getting bored really won't make you orgasm) and that means looking forward to it, fantasising a bit, and looking hard for the sensations that indicate you are getting closer, and the sensations that mean you are orgasming sometimes they can be quite subtle and you need to build it from there.

This is good. I have never befor been on a forum, regarding any topic, much less as complicated and upridictable such as this, and to be helped by such wise commited people. Thank you.

I'm going to take the week off of anal play, its getting a little uncomfortable down there at times. No big deal, I just think it's a good idea. And I don't believe I will try sleeping with the Helix in ever, I can see that ending one way only- very messy, and I don't want that.

It is obvious to me that the advice and tips that were given to me here are true and helpful based on the wonderful experiances that occured due to these tips. So to whomever is reading, take it in.

For about 5 months over 30+ sessions. I'm going disagree the word do "NOTHING". I found I have to do SOMETHING. Such as fishing. I'm not just sit there and just WAIT!
I'm focusing, sensing, luring even I sit still on the boat.
