Hello. Obviously I’m new here so forgive me if this hasbeen asked before. Looked as best as I could in FAQ but didn’t see an answer. Well it’s my first time for PM and I just have to ask. After inserting, with plenty of water based lube, I had uncontrollable muscle contractions and fluid out of my penis. How the heck do you relax? As soon as it hit my prostate shit went crazy!!

Hey @Ficm ,

welcome to the forum!

I had uncontrollable muscle contractions and fluid out of my penis.

First of all: congratulations, I guess you mastered a few milestones at once. 🙂

How the heck do you relax?

Just don't interfere with what your body is doing on it's own. So, no conscious muscle clenching. Just let go and try to observe what you body is doing and what you are feeling. Letting go refers to you body and to your mind. Don't expect anything (to happen) and just fall into the experience. Consider the aneros as a tool for relaxation rather than arousal.

When I have rather strong involuntary contractions (aka involuntaries) during a session, I like to play the denial game. I imagine that I'm forbidden to have them and that I'm not allowed to orgasm from them. The more I try to not have them, respectively relax out of them, the stronger they get and I eventually orgasm.

Last but not least, let me summon @rumel , to throw a quadrillion usefull links and related threats at you. 🙂

Cheers, Unfug

@Ficm IMHO, from where I stand, you are doing all the right things! Just remember (when first starting out with Aneros) keep you hands off your penis during your sessions (as difficult as it may be at first). As @Unfug recommends, just relax and let your body's pleasures take you where they wants to go. Remember, prostate stimulation is not like a masturbation "session" where you have a definite end-goal in mind! Rather, it can be more elusive and unpredictable, but extremely enjoyable! In all honesty, you don't know where you body will take you during a session; perhaps even a Super-O! Good luck to you and please update us on your progress.

Congratulations on such a great bodily response so early in your Aneros journey. IMHO, some men experience such early response simply because they have absolutely no expectations or anticipations, I think you may be included in this group of men, but your question reveals a deeper unsatisfied desire for something more than a dramatic physical response.

How the heck do you relax?

If you are having such a positive response, why bother questioning the how of what you are achieving? Is it because you are finding your experience not particularly pleasurable? If this is so, then learning to relax more into the experience may be beneficial. The Aneros journey is more than 90% a mental excursion, the physicality portion is the minor part. Orienting your focus on mindfulness is where the pleasure ultimately emerges from. I agree with @Unfug when he said...

I would recommend you read @darwin 's post relax, relax, RELAX. There are a variety of ways for learning to relax, please see the Relaxation paragraphs in the Getting Started section of the Aneros WIKI. I have long thought of my Anerosessions as erotic meditations which are themselves relaxing exercises just as yoga meditations are relaxing exercises. As @Unfug also said "Just Let Go !" and see where your Anerosession takes you.

Last but not least, let me summon @rumel , to throw a quadrillion usefull links and related threats at you. 🙂

Hey @Unfug I rarely threaten anyone, I mainly thread them to boredom!
Good Vibes to You !

Well thanks for all the info. Now I’m going have to do some reading. I actually didn’t get this for pleasure. I’ve been getting Prostatitis on an off for some time now. Was doing some research and saw that PM might help relieve it or make it go away. Me having an open mind am willing to give it go. But again thank you for all the good info everyone has added.

@Ficm, meditation has been used for millennia to ease both mental and physical suffering, the fact it can also promote deep relaxation (and vice-versa) is a bonus. In Tantric philosophy the prostate gland is considered a man's emotional sex center, his Sacred Spot, massage of this area is both physically and psychologically healing.
FYI, High Island Health LLC is the parent company & manufacturer of the Aneros ® brand of prostate massagers. This patented device was originally and is currently offered for sale as the Pro-State ® line of massagers on the High Island Health website. The HIH website is primarily oriented toward the health aspects and benefits of prostate massage in accord with Oriental medicine for prostate related issues. A forum for users to discuss practice with these devices also exists on that website, I encourage you to check out that site to learn more about the health benefits. You may also be interested in reading about the ongoing Columbia Medical School study using the Pro-State massagers. The High Island Health website also contains testimonials from users regarding their experiences using these wonderful little massagers. That website also provides links to additional information on prostate health, the Aneros® website, by contrast, is oriented toward the sensual, pleasure aspects of prostate massage.
Good Vibes to You !
