Hey!
I currently own the helix syn model and I love the thing. So, I'm really interested in getting the new helix syn v, but could the vibration levels be a little distracting? (Never owned a vibration toy)
How loud does this thing get?
Thanks!
... could the vibration levels be a little distracting?
Yes vibrations can be distracting and even numbing. One of the more interesting features of this new Aneros model is the initial low intensity level of vibration, it is stimulating without being numbing if you are using one of the vibrating mode options #2 thru #8, #1 (the default when switched on) is a constant pattern which may lead to numbing and/or distraction (especially at the higher intensity settings). However, the intermittent pulse/pause patterns of the #2 thru #7 patterns can be hypnotic in and of themselves, leading you to create your own in-sync or counter rhythm contractions and thus avoiding boredom and actually increasing focus on your body's response such that your orgasm sneaks up on you unexpectedly.
I think pattern #8 is rather special in that it is a combination of patterns which are seemingly random, keeping you guessing as to what pulse(s), pauses and intensity change is about to occur, quite intriguing and entrancing.
How loud does this thing get?
For as strong as the max. intensity setting feels, it is remarkably quiet. I don't have a decibel meter to tell you what it is but it is not very loud at all. At the lowest intensity setting it is probably not loud enough to awaken a sleeping partner.
Good Vibes to You!
