Pretty straight forward.  How long do you hold your contractions?  Do you do a rhythmic style where it's stays at a steady pace, or do you pick up speed?

I've always wondered about that my self. Also where do you do it during the deep breathing? In between exhale/inhale ? During one or the other  ? Or does it matter?

How long do you hold your contractions?

The general advice is to hold a contraction until your muscles reach a fatigue point wherein they will go into involuntary spasms, the 'auto-fuck' response.

Do you do a rhythmic style where it's stays at a steady pace, or do you pick up speed?

There is really no rule with regards to this, whatever rhythmic style works best for you is fine, so experiment with different routines and see what pleases your prostate the most. You are going to find as your experience level changes your session style is going to evolve and change as well so what worked well for you in your beginning journey will cede to newer techniques.

Good Vibes to You!

There is no one way to do it, as the plethora of different opinions suggest.

I have many ways I do things, but that isn’t helpful. I can tell you the techniques that helped me the most when I was re-wiring, and that I still often use today. I hold very minimal contractions (well under 50%, often 10-30%, whatever that means), often creating contradictory contractions (pushing out and pulling in at the same time, I think it’s called the tug of war method). My PC muscles are toned enough that I don’t tire out, so I don’t ever really stop the contractions, except to explore the realm of not contracting. Thus I roll through various levels of contracting and various combinations of muscles— because it isn’t as simple as just pulling and pushing, there are as many possibilities as there are combinations of the many muscles down there. When I find an interesting sensation, I explore it by hanging out at that level of contraction and that combination of muscles, or hover around it, or see if I can make it build by “moving it elsewhere.” All this I do very slowly, and I never clench too hard because that can kill sensations for me. I don’t pay any attention to my breathing most of the time, and I tend to breath less—and more shallow—than what is suggested by the wiki page and also than what i am capable of. This doesn’t bother me— the proof: I have a great time.
