How do you relax and concentrate?

Im interested in everyone’s relaxation and concentration techniques. Im convinced that the single most important ingredient to orgasms is relation with concentration.

When relaxing, what do you focus on? Do you try to clear your mind and think on nothing? Do you stair blankly at an object in the room?

Do you close your eyes and try to feel every sensation in your body? If so do you concentrate on the entire body simultaneously? On various body parts individually? In any particular order?

How do you achieve to build up towards orgasm? By focusing on the prostate or one of the methods above?

I guess what im asking is what is everyone’s detailed mental strategy in achieving their O’s.

I always have my sessions under the sheets in the dark (or no sheets in the summer when it's warmer, but always in the dark). I've not reached the stage yet where I can have visual stimulation. For me, the dark means I can concentrate on feeling what I've got to feel without getting too distracted.

I think it's good to have a warm bath beforehand or a shower to calm yourself down a little. I also find spending ten minutes or so looking at some porn mags or videos of my favourite porn helps. I usually have inserted the Aneros by this point and let my body warm it and get used to it being there. Then it's lights off, sheet over the head and let the magic begin.

Just concentrate on what's going on. Try not to identify what's going on, just feel it. You can identify it afterwards. Feel your way into what is happening and enjoy it. Each sensation is perfect in and of itself. Let your body teach you what it can do, and it can do a lot!

I took up meditation. That being said, my experience is that mixing meditation with any sexual activity at first is counterproductive. The idea of meditation at it's simplest is to concentrate on and slow down the breathing. You also train yourself to not hold onto thoughts. You will never actually cease having thoughts, but the idea is to dismiss them as soon as they come up. There are a mutlitude of meditation books and recources out there, I found Allan Watts "Stilling the Mind" very helpful (and non sectarian). Once you get used to deep breathing and a quiet mind, you can apply the techniques in sexual situations.

Hi ALL!

I basically:

- Lay back & close my eyes

- Start a long, slow breathing pattern

- Clear my mind of all thoughts and distractions

- At this time, I usually have some mild activity in my genital area (a good feeling, although very subtle)

- Rather than concentrating on it, I just "Notice it" and watch it grow . . . (and smile; I know it may sound strange???)

- I always let the Orgasm (no matter how distant it may be) come to me

- I greet it with open arms and enjoy the union

That's pretty much it???

my latest trick is to imagine that i have been injected by a nurse with a combo of heroin and pt-141 (arousal drug). (she sticks around to appreciate the effect it is having on me, although i am a bit too immersed to notice)

i focus on feeling the wafting bodily high of the heroin plus the increasing arousal pulsing in my groin. it lets me absorb myself in my inner world and appreciate the experience i am having second by second rather than waiting for something better.

totally agree with last 2 posts..having recenly getting my first full body super-o...a day and a half ago...what worked was clearing ur thoughts...feeling the sensations as they begin...embrace them...slight trembling of arms and legs...don't start thinking...ok..ok...here it comes..let them build...i somewhat just focus my eyes on celing or walll...blocking any thoughts that come and let my body just take over...by the way..i found it very pleasurable that afterwards i could still feel the slight waves and tingles through me for about 2 hours after...
