Had a bit of a flare up today, happens occasionally.. Just happens to be one of those days where a bleed occurs.

Was looking forward to a session as I'd achieved some interesting feelings last session.

Suffice say im not expecting to jump back on the progasm but how long should I leave it before say using the mgx or helix? Usually when I have this type of flare up I have no further bleeds..

On another note is it a bad thing to douche daily? That is to say to help things along while I'm having a flare up... Definitely helped earlier get rid of the need to go by flushing out stuff (normally I would ask the doctor this but I've had the same answers the last couple of times I've visited).

Wait a couple of days and try the smallest toys first and check for discomfort. Build it up over the course of a week. Any discomfort -> wait.

I don't do douching for a number of reasons:
_ I find that douching disturbs the rectum, leading to subtle hindrances during sessions
_ I eat fibre-rich foods like oatmeal and beans etc. so I have easy and regular stool
_ I poop in a full squat (flip flops on top of the toilet bowl) so I get complete evacuation (and it *REALLY* helps with hemorrhoids!)

I use a dab of Vaseline with the plastic models (don't really like the silicone offerings) and it works great, and it doesn't disturb the rectum like glycerine-water-based lubes (which are laxative)

@Timelesspa, how about putting your Aneros in the freezer for a few hours? Coat it with Vaseline, which will freeze on and create a buffer, and insert. The cold will help treat your hemorrhoids using cryotherapy.
