Helix Versus Helix Syn Question

The Helix Classic is the original model in the Helix series. It is made of white plastic.

The Helix Syn is the Helix with an overlay of silicone which delivers a smoother, gentler ride. It came out about two years ago. The Helix Syn was my first Aneros model. It still stars in all my sessions.

The classic Helix is just as good! And, if you're experienced at anal pleasure, the softer Syn model, may be less subtle than you want! I wish I had gotten the Helix Classic first, since I had a significant amount of anal stimulation experience when I first started using Aneros! IMHO

Bit the bullet and Ordered from Physio Supplies in Queensland Australia. They said it would ship within 2 days and delivery 8-10 days. Could get it quicker from the USA I am thinking. Just have to wait patiently I suppose.

Shipped and now in transit! Waiting impatiently, finger will get a workout until it arrives.

Between the two models it really comes down to how much pressure you can tolerate on the perenuim. The classic is more agressive, the Syn more gentle. In time, you will need to try several models to determine your preference. Starting out with the Syn is a good choice!

I'm really happy with my Syn. But it never smells as clean as my Progasm ICE, which is plastic. I'm still trying to figure out how to clean it right. I wash it in hot water. Lather it in soap. Even spray Lysol on it. But for some reason, I can't get the "shit" smell out of it. It's gross. I'm thinking of letting it soak in some cleaner solution.

But other than the smell, I'm happy with it. It's softer than the ICE, which I like. I don't feel as sore after using it as I do with the ICE.

Thanks Mdad, perhaps the silicone material of the Syn is more porous than the hard plastic of the normal Helix. That might account for it. I can live with it anyway if it works as it should.

The Helix Syn will get better and better as you use it. Perhaps later down the road, you can get a Helix Classic for a more aggressive ride as well.

Yep, I hear what you are saying BigGlansDC. I think for just the moment I have a lot of learning to do with this one. Later down the track when I have become competent with this one I will go for something more aggressive. Thanks for that advice. Yes, the Helix Syn does seem to sink into your crack. This was a little off putting at the start as it seemed to slide in and out against my butt cheeks. ( plenty of lube to slide against) but now I have accepted the fact that it does this and I think I will get to like it. Seems to point to the fact that I am doing the contractions right. I tried to put yours in my reply comment, but couldn't figure out how to do it. I wanted to reply to "A favorite, etc." with been there, done that.
