Helix SYN - going grey!

My search does not work so I cannot use the earlier thread.
Discovered my HS was quite grey this morning. It was growing fur! I was very surprised as I wash it thoroughly after use.
I soaked it in bleach (Domestos) and I noticed a cloud forming all round it which easily moved way. The SYN is now back to its former self.
I am sure it was a fungal colony! I think the silicone attracts spores or retains them.
I am not sure of the source of the colony so I also used external anti fungal cream on me.
For good measure I soaked all my toys and cleaned the surface of their drawer.
All very happy now
I note this in case others have such surprises

My syn models does the same, but then I coat them with shea-butter before use so my guess is that it`s just some reaction to that. I also wash them in warm soapy water before and after each use, and regularly clean them with dildo-cleaner (desinfection).Works fine for me.

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable keeping mine if that happened.

I'm going to toss some silica desiccant packs in with my toys.

I think using Coconut Oil may have contributed to the problem. I am back with Shea Butter and Sweet Almond oil so far so good.

i use coconut oil, never gone grey, not even slightly with any syn device. How long are you leaving it between sessions with the syn? sounds like its a long time...
