I'm new to this. Considering ordering the helix classic next week. I don't have a lot of experience with anal play other than a bit of fingering. I know everyone has to start somewhere but curious if it takes a while of play or getting used to to insert this. Will I have a problem not having much experience? Any suggested prep in the meantime until I get my aneros? Got interested in this subject reading a book on tantra, which led to reading on prostate stimulation.

I was totally new to prostate play when I purchased my Helix Syn. I did not have a problem handling it, it took a bit of time to get in and about five minutes to get used to the penetration. My tips would be, plenty of lube, RELAX, and as your inserting it bear down and try to push it out. Sounds strange but it actually helps.

Helix Classic was my first Aneros (of 4). What I like about the classics is that you can use any kind of lube. I personally liked Boy Butter for my sessions. To answer your question, I would suggest just taking it slowly, lube-up properly, read the Wiki, get yourself ready and just go for it! In time, you will appreciate and feel the results of prostate massage. None of us Aneros "guys" had any experience either when we started, myself included. Just relax and enjoy the ride! Before long, you too will be ready to post to the forums and blogs!

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the feedback and tips! Was just curious as the head of the aneros is bigger than anything I have tried! haha The patience thing will not be an issue. I do a fair bit of meditation and mindfulness work so will do this with no expectation. Just be aware of the experience and see where it goes!

Most men find inserting their Aneros devices quite easy and readily adapt to the feeling of this foreign object in their anus and rectum, usually one or two sessions is all it will take to find yourself comfortable with them. Use plenty of lube and you will have an enjoyable introduction.

NO, we all have to start with low experience levels, if there is a problem, it is only because you have created it in your mind. Being open minded and adventurous will go a long way toward Identifying Obstacles to Progress and overcoming them.

Please read the Getting Started section of the Aneros WIKI.

Excellent mind set, 'B Mayfield' years ago dubbed the Aneros devices "Tantric training wheels" and I have long considered my Anerosessions erotic meditations, so I think you and Aneros will get along just fine. You might find the websites White Lotus East and Society for Sacred Sexuality interesting general reading in the spirit of Tantric sexuality. Also you may enjoy reading an excellent thread on this forum titled Automatic tantra?.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think, we become.

Wow rumel! Thanks for this great info! Will most definitely look at those links! I think I might have been to White Lotus East before. I like the idea in tantra of not having orgasm as a goal. And just enjoying the experience for what it is and where it might go. Thanks for all the support!
