Heart rate went too high and got me scared

Dear community, need your advice and your experience shared re high heart rate.

I've been playing with Helix Syn ~1.5 years, more or less. A few times per month, in average. Never ever had a Super-O, but sometimes very strong and pleasurable P-waves. That's how was I've been able to go until tonight.

What happened tonight was first plenty of joy, but then got me seriously very scared. Let me describe in detail.

As usual, I inserted the toy and lied on my side, both legs bended, just "the classic" position described in the wiki. I were lying like that for ~1 hour and having small and large P-waves, very pleasurable. Just as usual.

At some point in time warmth and subtle itching started to develop in my prostate, again, as usual, nothing unexpected so far. But then I noticed that it became hotter and hotter and very pleasurable. In the same time, my heart beat started increasing and my breath intensified a bit. That was "wow" – something very exciting and something I had never felt before. The feeling was like it was steadily taking control of my body, and for some time that was very erotic. My penis was pulsing strong at times, with waves. And just a little bit of liquid came out of it (like a few drops).

"I'm close to something very intense and extremely pleasurable", a thought flied through my mind. I tried to relax and not control everything and just have fun. I wanted a Super-O to come, I hoped and I believed it was something very close.

However, I started noticing that my heart rate kept increasing. For some more time, I considered it was because I was getting close to climax. So I just ignored it. Yet my heart continued to speed up, and my prostate continued to become even hotter.

Next, I felt like I was about to lose my consciousness – I felt something in my head was taking control out of me by stages. In the same time, my heart rate went dangerously hight, but still no explosion and nothing like O-super or. It was just growing till the moment when I felt that I couldn't withstand the pulse. It quickly became unpleasant. The only time I get a heart rate that hight is when I do a very intense cardio training, and it lasts for a few minutes, then I have to slow down. So I get scared, my heart was beating too fast and it stopped to be pleasurable. I pulled the Helix Syn out, drank some water and had to walk 15 minutes in my backyard to get my heart rate back calm.

Now I'm sitting in front of my laptop, still feeling some warmth in my prostate, and being scared while writing this post.

Has anyone felt anything like that? Does it sound okay or not okay? Should I be worried?
It was just TOO MUCH and TOO STRONG. I never ever got a heart beat that fast during intercourses with my partner, even during climax.

From one point of view, I certainly don't want to miss my Super-O, I've been waiting for it for sooo looong.
From the other point of view, it does not look sane and safe. Was I approaching to Super-O or was it bad reaction of my body? What could cause it?

I have million questions, and I'm wondering what I do next?.. Please help by sharing your experience.

Is it really true that Super-O can take control over you that much that you loose consciousness and stop being able to control your body? I imagined something like that after reading this forum, but what I felt was very scary and nowhere near pleasurable. And the most worrying thing is that super hight heart rate. I was scared and forgot to measure it, but I think it was somewhere around 180-190 bpm.

I've not experienced excessively high pulse rates although they can become higher than normal during the arousal phase leading to any above-average orgasm cycle.

But for a period of around two years in my MMO progress I used to experience occasional panic attacks (Terrors at the Gates). These would happen sometimes when I was about to surpass in intensity anything that I'd experienced hitherto, not on every such occasion but maybe in intervals of some weeks. Although each one would have an unsettling effect, each new higher level of experience would become established in my orgasmic repertoire and seemed to result in no harm. Such effects have not returned fir a long time and I now regard them as a passing phase.

Although you are talking about something somewhat different I suggest that very surprising things can happen to you during re-wiring but, with patience, things will settle down eventually. Patience is the keyword.

I've never had anything like that happen to me while using aneros or any other prostate toy. How old are you? You might want to get checked over from a heart health perspective. One thing I will add is that the vagus nerve affects the heart and can be stimulated via the rectum. You may want to do a google search on this but here is an article to start you off: http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-the-vagus-nerve-a-true-information-highway-2007jul15-story.html

Yeah, my heat rate does tend to go up when I get excited and am about to have or experiencing an orgasm. I usually do not notice it now after a couple years. I also believe you may be adding to the effect with some of the "terror at the gate" feelings described above. It's a new and different experience and something you are not used to experiencing; so it can be a little alarming at first. Best to relax and surrender and enjoy the feelings you are experiencing. I guess for some it could feel like a panic attack or feeling like you are about to faint; which can be un-nerving for sure.

Of course if you do have a pre-existing medical/heart condition it would not hurt to see a doctor for piece of mind.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

35 y.o. Actually, carrying a very healthy lifestyle and playing lots of sports, and have no conditions.

Can anyone elaborate the Panick Attack and the Terrors at the Gates. What is this, how strong is it, how does it feel?

[/HR]
Also, this is the very first time ever I truly felt the "auto-f.ck" effect, when the Aneros Pleasuring Device was really moving on its own inside me, and I had to put ZERO EFFORT into those movements. The movement of course was very tiny, but I could feel it very well.

I think I now surpassed my shock and going to try it again any time soon. If I survive, I'll put a report here 🙂

I hope that

things will settle down eventually. Patience is the keyword

, and I will do my best to

Best to relax and surrender and enjoy the feelings you are experiencing.

i did experience bizarre heart rate during my aneros use. I attribute that to longer intense orgasm. But prostate orgasm from aneros or my wife manual massage did have some other tolls on my body such as muscle aches, jaw aches due to overextend and throat inflamed due to those screaming/moaning. I did try as much as possible to control myself but well, those are involuntary during the highest peak.

@iphone7, From your description of events I think you endured the 'perfect storm' of a Super-O triggering a panic attack. Your excitement was fueling your arousal which was fueling your body to produce all those delicious neurotransmitters that make us feel good but your ego felt threatened from loss of control being turned over to your id. This fear triggered the 'fight or flight' response, which then superimposed the release of even more hormones into your system aggravating an already highly stimulated body. It's pretty amazing how much our fears can monkey around with our body's functioning. You were in no real physical danger from the pleasure aspect of your Anerosession but when the dissonance within your psyche arose the body went into overdrive.

Has anyone felt anything like that? Does it sound okay or not okay? Should I be worried?

Obviously, an overly rapid heartbeat rate is taxing on the heart muscle and if prolonged could trigger a heart attack, NOT a good thing! Other Aneros users have experienced similar psychic dissonance issues, (see Extreme terror at the gates, see Terrifying Sensations?, It felt so good, and then it got scary...is this okay?, Scared of the super-O for examples)

Was I approaching to Super-O or was it bad reaction of my body? What could cause it?

I think you were IN a Super-O and your ego got so fearful it made you shut the event down.

I have million questions, and I'm wondering what I do next?

Indeed you should have many questions, when you are calm and relaxed your body will regulate your heart rate appropriately, this is the best time to analyze your fears of losing control. Why is control so important to you? Who would you be losing control to? What are the ramifications of this illusory 'control'? It is this self examination process which will sort out the issues for you and allow you to come to an understanding of your body's role in relation to each segment of your mind. As @Mog advised be patient with yourself, learn some deep relaxation techniques to keep your body from overheating during arousal buildup and perhaps most important "Just Let Go !".

Is it really true that Super-O can take control over you that much that you loose consciousness and stop being able to control your body

First off, you don't have nearly as much control over your body as your ego thinks it does. Most of your bodily functions will carry on quite well without your conscious intervention (e.g. people in comas can function for years without conscious control). Secondly, a Super-O is not a spontaneous, externally caused event, it is an orchestrated process that YOU initiate, support and allow to occur. It doesn't happen without your permission. Allowing yourself to enter a Super-O IS allowing yourself to enter an altered state of consciousness, you are not losing consciousness but you are altering it. Because a Super-O does induce an altered sate of consciousness (an altered state of consciousness can also probably induce a Super-O) some men have found there prior world view and normal conscious states also forever altered as well to some extent.
Good Vibes to You !

Weird, I'm just now realizing that this has actually happened to me before. Not to the extent of OP, though. Also, I was able to apply rumel's advice and got a very nice a-less buzz going for the first time in forever. I think your post has really helped me pin down exactly what I need to do to improve. Thanks a bunch dude, your posts are so helpful!

Since then I was able to experience a true and super intence Dry-O (once only) with using peridise.

And today the scary high heart rate happened to me again - it was so intence that not pleasurable at all. This time it happened with the peridise.

Not understanding it at all and getting disappointed.

When you say your heart rate is high, do you have a precise reading or do you just notice that your heart's beating is more pronounced? I know my HR goes up but never hit over 130 and it will fluctuate depending on my level of arousal. If you're concerned, maybe grab an Apple Watch or a Fitbit and try to see what's going on or go to a doctor

So, the heart's reading is between 130 and 150. And the "more pronounced" beating is also the case.

So far nothing has been found by the doctor that would explain this. My heart is healthy, they say.

I have experienced the heart rate thing, usually happens when I am heading to the stratosphere, and always accompanied by a super O. I figured it was just part of the whole experience.
