Have a lost my ability to have a Super-O?

So about 10 days ago (last Monday) I had my first Super-O. Since then, I had a few Aneros sessions on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday right after and had no problems. On Friday, I started orgasming when I got even just a bit turned on with my partner... I felt like I couldn't control it. I'd be laying there with him turned on, and start orgasming right in front of him in waves. It would go on almost the entire time we had sex. So really hot.

That lasted for a few days. And I took a bit of a break Monday and Tuesday.

So last night, I was by myself, very relaxed and tried to use the Aneros again. No luck. I was able to notice a few nice sensations, but nothing too significant. Maybe a few contractions, nothing I would call an orgasm. I meditated and relaxed for about an hour or so and then ended the session.

Is this normal? I'm not sure there's anything different now than what was going on last week. I'm wondering if I've lost my ability and the only reason it was so uncontrollable and strong last week was because it was new and exciting to my body, and now it's over 🙁

This is common. Many have a period of go-nowhere rides after a first phenomenal success. Nothing is lost or damaged. Give your body a chance to adjust to its discovered super-powers.

Keep practicing, and enjoy the good feelings on their own without comparing to what you had. What you were able to do once, you will be able to do again.

It's easy to have expectations once you know what it feels like. If "the best is the enemy of the good" then perhaps expectation is the enemy of pleasure?

You just have to be philosophical about these things and keep calm and carry on.

I think I can just chill about it. At least it happened for almost an entire week before it went away, so I sorta know what to expect now. It was just really surprising to go from almost being completely uncontrollably orgasmic when I was arroused to not really feeling anything more than a few warm feelings and tingles.

I'll carry on! It's not like my body forgot - I guess it just wasn't what it needed yesterday and wasn't in the mood.
(also felt like I couldn't really feel the Aneros as much in there, even though I was lubed up... Felt like it was stuck or dry in there, not really able to move and slide)

Happened just the same to me, totally lost any ability for weeks after . Still haven't got back to super-Os (except one or two rather randomly) after 3 months, but lots of other interesting orgasms to make up for it. Hoping to discover the secret again one day.

What I call "panic arousal" can give you a superO without you mastering the necessary skills. It's a good thing because it gives you earlier a better idea of what it is and what it's not. But it also is misleading, in the sense it gives you illusions on the path to get there. And so it will take another "panic arousal" (a bit unlikely because you panic less once you had it once), another trick or finally learning the skils to get there again... And this will take time.

Relax and enjoy.

Can you explain "panic arousal"? When it happened to me I think there was a degree of adrenaline rush, but under normal circumstances that would kill any sexual arousal, not bring on the best orgasm ever. Just interested.

I didn't develop that idea much in written form, but still, the birth of the idea is documented in my mess of a thread. You can read, think and may ask me about it afterwards.
