Hi guys,

Yesterday Saturday afternoon around 3 p.m. EDT, I was adding some posts to the General Forum section. Aneros.com lingered for nearly five minutes. I had to log out and then back in. My latest post was posted, but I noticed that the chat room had apparently went down.

Have other users noticed this, i.e. the chat room going down with message "www.aneros.com refused to connect"?

I know several who have reported this as well. I sent a message to Aneros technical services but heard nothing back.

Yup. The chat server that sits on port 35555 fell over it seems.
Hopefully all they need to to is restart the service and bob's your uncle.

Wonder if they are changing chat clients again...the same thing happened when they redesigned the website last time.

They should have this posted some place easy to find, until this post of yours I had no idea and I have been looking. Do they have a Discord server?

The chat client does not work correctly in Chrome 69 on Linux. Why don't they just run a Discord server or a normal IRC server with a web interface for the people who don't have clients?
