Has the chat room been down since Saturday afternoon?

I know several who have reported this as well. I sent a message to Aneros technical services but heard nothing back.

Yup. The chat server that sits on port 35555 fell over it seems.
Hopefully all they need to to is restart the service and bob's your uncle.

Maybe they don't have anyone watching over their servers during the weekend.

I'll be damned if I leave a tip for the server when she comes back ....... ooops different server.

Wonder if they are changing chat clients again...the same thing happened when they redesigned the website last time.

Well another couple of days and is there still no word about the chat room? I hope it is not going to be as bad as the last outage.

They should have this posted some place easy to find, until this post of yours I had no idea and I have been looking. Do they have a Discord server?

The chat client does not work correctly in Chrome 69 on Linux. Why don't they just run a Discord server or a normal IRC server with a web interface for the people who don't have clients?
