Hi guys,

Guys who practice male chastity, during which they restrain themselves from ejaculatory orgasms either from masturbation or sexual coitus, may suffer vasocongestion in their testicles, commonly called blue-balls. Vasocongestion or blue-balls may occur during sessions of foreplay or petting with a female. Both man and woman may not go all the way and have coital sex which results in sexual release for both. A sexually unfulfilled male may suffer blue-balls. Teenage boys are prone to suffer this condition.

@goldenboy in his Aneros blog in his pursuit of male chastity speaks about this condition fairly often.

What I want to find out from Aneros Forum readers is what does blue-balls feels like and how do you deal with the condition, especially when you passing days in the chastity/semen retention challenge.

Thanks!

For me it’s usually a semi-sharp perpetual ache. It’s uncomfortable to be sure. Sometimes it’s bad enough to disrupt normal activities... if i’m unwilling (or unable) to relieve via ejaculation then light massage, hot shower and ibuprofen / Tylenol are some of the remedies I try.

@HereByAccident's description is spot-on for me too: "a semi-sharp perpetual ache" --- very uncomfortable. For me, once the feeling sets-in, somehow I am unable to "shake" it off (or wait it out) without the inevitable ejaculation. Of course, I try to hold-off as long as possible, but after about 6-8 hours (usually less) of aching agony, I have to give-in. I don't think popping pain pills is the answer for me. I've tried massage and hot showers too, to no avail.

I recently had a session (this morning) which seemed to release prostate fluid and resulted in a "pseudo-refractory period" where my horniness level had drastically decreased. Perhaps my tendency for "blue-balls" will decrease as well. Only time will tell.

PS Thanks to @BigGlansDC for initiating this thread. Perhaps all of us "BB-sufferers" will get some relief from this community discussion!

@HereByAccident and @goldenboy, thank you both for descriptions of sharp pain while suffering blue-balls. I do not think I have ever had blue-balls, even in my teenage years. Do you think that prostate milking through the Aneros or Njoy Pure Wand devices would alleviate this problem?

I am now in day 19 of my SR challenge!

@BigGlansDC; I've never tried Blue Balls but my advice is to ejaculate if you get it - prior and after Day 21. I think your body tells you that something is wrong, so ejaculate is the only right thing to do and then start over again with your challenge. After my challenge (Day 21) I ejaculated - wonderful. Now I started a new challenge....

Likewise for me, I can't recall ever suffering actual pain from Epididymal Hypertension (aka 'Blue Balls' syndrome). The worst it ever got was an almost uncontrollable urge to ejaculate to relieve the condition.

Do you think that prostate milking through the Aneros or Njoy Pure Wand devices would alleviate this problem?

YES, I have become a firm supporter of prostate milking for general health reasons but also for relief from 'Blue Balls' syndrome. For those practicing a strict semen retention regime (no ejaculations) this may seem a violation of protocol. I don't see it quite that way if you only milk to the point of releasing a very small amount of prostate fluid. This allows for some immediate relief while not triggering the hormonal cascade, libido drop refractory period of an ejaculatory orgasm or full semen milking. Any of the Aneros devices can provide this minor milking action. However, one does have to be a little more careful when using the 'Pure Wand' as it is much easier to fully drain both the prostate and seminal vesicles causing a more precipitous drop in libido and inducing a refractory like bodily reaction as well.
Good Vibes to You !

@BigGlansDC An "ache" is more descriptive of my condition than "pain". My suspicion is that some guys have a lower threshold of tolerance; I am probably in that group!

@rumel I had a nice release of some P-fluid in my most recent session (see my blog). Interestingly, I seemed to get a "refractory period" of about 2 hours from it. This is unusual for my sessions. However, I seem not to have any "blue-balls" feeling yet at SR Day 12.

@BigGlansDC I would think milking would help. I've not tried the wand (curious though). I'm usually trying to do Semen Retention and I do a fair amount of edging - with the Aneros in (intentionally trying to milk the prostate). I try to relax as much as I possibly can in an effort to open the semen ducts so that excess can get out without actually ejaculatng.

Milking is new to me, but edging / relaxing is not. It's very very difficult for me to accomplish, but there have been a few times in my life while edging / relaxing small amounts of semen will flow out without ejaculation. It seems the longer I can edge, the better chance it will happen (not 100% sure on that)... but tha is not any easy task... my brain usually says "just cum" and I have to walk away or give in.

Edging / relaxing with the Aneros is how I attempt milking... I'm on my third or fourth extended SR run this year and these last few have been Blue-ball free (about the time I started milking / edging/ relaxing).

On the other hand I like a little pain / ache in the groin... I like to go to bed in tight testicle / cock bondage. The first night time arrousal wakes me up in pure joy/agony - not sure what effect that has on BB.

Before discovering all the pleasures that Aneros use can bring I was fairly happy with a once a week ejaculation, so never got anywhere near the feelings of extended SR. I recently completed 21 days and did not experience anything other than extreme horniness and feeling a lot more energised. I got through fairly easily and felt no pain. After day 21 I kept up my thrice weekly Aneros sessions and subsequently, although not really intentionally, I now find myself having gone 13 days without ejaculating. I am suffering like I have never suffered before. It began with aching balls one morning after I woke up, I thought I might have trapped a testicle or something in my sleep and expected the pain to go soon but it continued until I cupped my balls in my palm and nursed them for a while. Since then thankfully I have not had the same pain but the tension and pressure in my groin is almost unbearable and for some reason my jaw is aching. I feel as if I am about to “spill” over at any moment. I took myself for a bike ride today which kept me distracted but as soon as I got home, showered and changed the raging horniness kicked off again. Strangely, when I did the 21 days I managed to totally forget about my penis. I had lots of erections which I ignored and they subsided. But now my penis is just a badly behaved attention seeker. I’ve never tried prostate milking and am wondering if it might give me some temporary relief, otherwise I think I am going to have to say maybe 13 days is enough.

@Harper I have been in your position with SR many times before. My suggestion: don't be a martyr! Find a nice, new way to MB and EJ! Do yourself a favor! You will feel relief almost immediately!

@amaz, @rumel, @goldenboy, @HereByAccident, and @Harper. thank you all for your illuminating comments on vasocongestion or blue-balls.

@goldenboy, I would probably enjoy the "ache" of blue-balls some day though.
