Good Progress but Need Pointers

I have recently purchased an Aneros Helix Syn. I have had four sessions with it so far with decent success! I want to describe where I have got to and see if anyone has any pointers of how to proceed.

All of my sessions last about an hour to an hour and a half. I used standard water-based lube each time. For all sessions but the last I had light erotica on. The last I lay in my dimly lit room in quiet.

In the first session, I spent about 45 minutes trying to figure out what the heck I'm supposed to do with this thing up my butt! I think I generally recognized the muscle groups that are necessary and realized I could "pump" the Aneros (make it move in and out). Oftentimes this felt good. It was always completely voluntary. I found that I could kind of push the Aneros out...hold it for as long as I could...then quickly suck it in and have it rub over my prostate. This created a very short but intense good feeling (not like an orgasm though). This session peaked my interest.

The next day I had two sessions. The first sessions was maybe only 45-50 minutes and I couldn't really get any good feeling like last time at all so I quit in some frustration. Much later in the day I had a "hankering" for Aneros play; remembering the first time. This was now my third time. Again about 45 minutes to to get to where it was feeling good. I realized it was much better with lighter, subtle contractions than the harsh ones of my first experience. (For me a contraction is a very slight push out of the Aneros with a somewhat stronger "sucking in.") This sessions is where I think I started to have semi-involuntary contractions. Usually I could do one contraction my self and then it seemed my body naturally did like two contractions afterward. This was a pleasurable session in general.

My fourth and last session was the most interesting. I went a little over 24 hours without masturbating; I think this helped. I felt kind of like a journeyman; I could get the semi-involuntary contractions going after only about 30 minutes. There were times when I felt the Aneros was perfectly aligned and "hugged" my prostate. Any subtle contraction felt really good and I had a strong "sense" of the head of the Aneros. There were maybe three or four times where I had pretty significant contractions going for a good while. It was usually a burst of contractions, then a sucking in and holding for a bit, then bursting contractions, etc. I felt soooo turned on. Twice I felt like I got the the top of the roller coaster (like a traditional orgasm), but not release. (I know I was so close!) At times I had: Body shaking, rhythmic breathing, etc. I was very relaxed during this session. I realized several times throughout that my hands were tingling like I was loosing feeling. (It is also interesting to note that about halfway through, I had to pee really bad; and I got up and did pee. While it somewhat killed the mood momentarily, it didn't really ruin the session.) Before the session I was horny and wanted penile masturbation. After the session I was "satisfied" and felt I no longer really needed to masturbate. I still had that slightly regretful feeling you get when you get close to orgasm (blue balls), but it was more like "blue prostate."

My main question is obviously is how do I get over the mountain, when I get to the top. I realized when I was a there and feeling really good, I kind of forced the contractions a little harder, which I think might have killed it. Another question I have is where to focus my mind when I'm close to the top? Sometimes it was helpful to think about someone that turns me on and focus away from the contractions; sometimes I think it was helpful to focus intensely on the "good vibrations" from the prostate. Any other pointers from reading the above testimonial are welcomed. I really didn't think I'd come this far so soon!

@ddp3838 Hi. You are doing just fine, man. The most important part of this is to just let it happen. Four sessions with good feelings is a wonderful start. Some of us (like me) didn't feel a thing for weeks...though, like you, I found I had a "hankering" for the sensations. And then there started to be some twinges of feelings I had never had before (no previous anal experience). Relaxation is key. and sometimes it's best to dispose of all distractions (audio and video), or at least keep them for 'foreplay". Look, everyone of us is different. I have said this again and again: read what others say but don't take it as "gospel", just as a "serving suggestion". Try some of the advice you can easily find in the archives of the forums here and in blogs (you can look at mine from 6 years ago). And then: WWFY: whatever works for you. Some guys benefit from coaching, by the way and for others, it is a total distraction. If you want to try something that worked for me when I was first starting (and I don't do it anymore): After you insert and lay quietly for about 5 min on the bed, turn yourself to the side of the bed, put your legs over the side and feet squarely on the floor. Move your butt so it's half on and half off the bed, and just rest there without moving anything. just let the device sit there. You may start to get some auto-motion. If so, just pay attention to it. Don't do anything. Don't spend more than 10 min with this. And also, during your session, learn to breath slowly and exhale all the way--not forcefully, but fully. sometimes at the very end of your exhale, you might feel a twinge down there. You are well on your way, and at some point, you will be giving other newbies "free advice" . Cheers.

Heres the thing about the Aneros everybody is different. I feel like during my journey so far asking specific questions leads to more doubt and confusion. Some people use meditation and spiritual practices in their journey, some use physical approaches, and others like myself use a method thats different and unique. What got the ball rolling for me was just letting it all go, i said who are they to tell me what works for me and what doesnt. After that its been nothing but pure pleasure.

Im a man of science and all that voodoo spiritual stuff didnt work me, i tried, and as a.man of science i knew this elusive orgasm had to be caused by a physical reaction. Action and reaction is the law of the universe and nothing comes from nothing. So I had some extra toys laying around, one with a rotating tip and a wand. I decided in that moment that i needed to use these toys to start up my prostate before each session. Low and behold that night i had my first dry O, then the night after that I had my first super o. In other words you can sit here and ask advice til the cows come home and read and research all these "techniques" that work for some but really what it comes down to is "what will work me?"

The biggest part of the journey is finding yourself and what kind of man you are. The other half is experimenting and finding a groove. Like i read arousal was a big deal in your sessions i watched porn for hours sometimes before inserting the thing. Got no results at all, i tired deep breathing with no pauses, kegals, masturbation and edging. Nothing got me over that damn mountain. While this may work for some it didnt work for me. So again find yourself man, let go of the stuff on here and focus on YOU. One more bit of advice that should help you is that you need to not worry about what you are feeling or think is this it is it finally happening, or was that an orgasm. Dont worry about what the orgasm feels like focus on the feeling and the orgasm will follow. Anyways i hope this helps good luck out there man.
