I posted here about a month ago in this thread http://aneros.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2455 asking for help. After reading everything and attempting to follow the advice I'm still exactly in the same place. I don't feel any sort of pleasurable sensation in the slightest or any sort of any sensation at all, other then a sense of "fullness".

I know I could find my way if I had something to start with, but I don't have even that! I under stand this is a "Rewiring process" but that implies some sort of positive feed back be required, which I am not getting. What are the initial sensations(after insertion obviously) that I am supposed to look for.

Something odd to consider, that may or may not be related. For me this thing kills erections. Without constant and vigorous penis stimulation, and even then sometimes, I find it very difficult to maintain an erection with it in. (without it I am fine, Never once had any problems getting it up or keeping it up) Even sometimes before I get it in, just getting it ready to insert kills my erection. This must be a mental thing, but why is it happening? How can I fix it and is it related to it not working for me? Is it even something to worry about.

Just some facts: I have the MGX, I am 6 feet tall, weigh about 170, and in my late twenties. Before this never tried any type of anal play other than with my finger a couple of times, that didn't really do anything for me either.

What are your suggestion's, please.

I read your first post....

"I've had the MGX for a bout 3 weeks now and have used many times, but with no results, at all. I don't feel ANY sort of pleasurable sensations, its just sort of... there. I've tried relaxing and using various positions but none of them worked."

This takes time and practice. The guys that hit right off the bat are WAY lucky! The rest of us, it takes longer.

"I'm not trying to achive quick results by any means, my sesions las t for at least 30min, usually allot longer. But I still get nothing."

My sessions run 2 to 4 hours and have had some as long as 8 hours. You need to develop those muscles (READ: Muscle Tone ROCKS") and have the time to relax so the sensations can appear/develop.

"I've even tried sleeping with in in all night."

You may be trying too hard to make it happen...

"I should feel something by now shouldn't I?"

Some do. Most don't.

"Should I try a different model?"

That depends on your bank account. The MGX is a good design. The Helix is a good companion.

"Or am I doing something wrong."

Probably not.

"I've read allot of the advice threads around her already and they don't seem to be of any help."

Then you already know that there a LOTS of guys on the "journey" (I know that gets old but it is true) for months and years. You have to be methodical. Take the time needed. Relax...a lot. Practice...a lot. Leave 3, 4, 5 days between sessions.

Listen, it really drives the expectations up when a "newbie" hits the jackpot after 5 minutes. It makes me crazy! I have been going at it for over 2 years. You would think that is enough practice! No jackpopt yet...but it has been very, very interesting and fun. Try and slow down. This not a vibrator plugged into the wall... It is unique among sex toys and requires practice.

That may not be what you want to hear but I hope it helps.

Hi Virg,

Hope all is well in Indianapolis.

Hi Grain,

Grain, the MGX is known to have an aggressive perinium tab. Is that causing any pain....not allowing you to relax?

If so, maybe take a kleenex and wrap it around the perinium tab so you can relax and let yourself go.

If that is not it, or in addition to that, take a hot bath and have a nice shot of the best cognac available.

Turn up the heat a little bit if you are in Idaho.

Relax in position #4 and let yourself go.

Tripper

Hi Grain, I thought I would chime for two reasons. First we share the fact that each of us came to this with little previous and no successful anal play. When I first started I felt nothing as well. If you are able to relax and be willing to experience nothing noticeable for as many more sessions as it takes, I believe that eventually things will begin to wake up back there - it did with me. Second, I also do not get erections (almost never) while using Aneros. I always thought it was because the blood to that area was either cut off by the presence of the device, or the blood was heading elsewhere - I can't really explain it. An erection is not at all, repeat, not at all, an ingredient in this recipe. I began this at 50, so I can scarcely remember what my erections were like at your age, but I can tell you that since things woke up for me, the erections I get when I am not using my Aneros are beyond anything I have had in my memory. I think that you will not be hurt by getting a different model as it may facilitate the process a little. I started with an MGX and soon after bought the Helix. Now I also have the Eupho. The Helix did help me get a better idea of what I was chasing, but I can say that if I had stayed with the MGX, I am pretty confident I would have ultimately had success anyway. The MGX is now my favorite - this will also change - this is not a linear progression. grateful

Hi Grain,

Grateful made the point that I was going to make. Why are you trying to maintain an erection? That in itself would seem to be a distraction to what is (or should be) happening. Realize that the Super O is so NON-Penile centered.

My sense is that you are on the right track, and that with some more time, relaxation and practice you will get there. Dont give up.

Relax in position #4 and let yourself go.

It used to when I first got it but not any more, unless I leave it in for more than an hour and a half.

Also, Position #4?

I think I'll give it a while longer and if still nothing happens I'll try out a helix model to see if that does anything.

I can understand your position. In July I bought a Helix and then got a couple other versions (Progasm, Eupho and MGX). Had some good sessions over the time but just now really starting to get results. I've gone from no good feelings, to mild good feelings to involuntary contractions with an incredible buzzing feeling in my prostate and elsewhere to where it's reached an incredible clamping, grasping sensation and flutters in my anus and automatic movement of the aneros and the feeling I'm ejaculating without any seamen coming out. One thing for me that I have noticed helped kick start the process is making sure the lube and aneros are WARM before inserting. I do this by soaking them in hot tap water for a couple minutes. When they're cold, it's like I clamp up. The warmth really helps relaxation when inserting and almost immediately the involuntary contractions start. I didn't get much going until I started laying on my back, left leg bent at the knee and up, right leg bent and laying on the bed. The other big help for me has been nipple stimulation. I put lube on both nipples and rub in a circular motion while contracting. It immediately starts vibrating sensations in my prostate and brings me into the state of involuntaries. The other thing I've noticed is that if I start with a bigger model (Progasm, for example) and the feelings start to taper off after 30-45 minutes and I then move to a smaller model, the good feelings start to come all over again. I never got erections at first but now find them coming and going and I do notice the feelings are much more intense with an erection. But, if it happens, it happens. When the incredible feelings start, you will be glad you persisted. It feels incredibly invigorating, and relaxing and joyful and intense.

I think this is a great point that I have not seen mentioned before . . . make sure your lube and aneros are warm before insertion! I've also found that if they are cold, it just kills the session right from the start.
