What are the "Gear Essential Rings" sold on the Aneros site for?

Cock rings?

I'm curious.

First, these aren't constriction rings to maintain an erection. Think of them more as a piece of jewelry, as a simple fetish, or as a means of maintaining your own awareness of your maleness. Occasionally you may see one in the gym locker room. You might view this as a bit of Ego or Narcissism--so be it.

I usually wear a cockring when I'm having a bph therapy session that's aimed at finishing with a super-T and these play well with a Fleshlight. The ring, clicking against the p-tab of an Aneros toy seems cool. I also wear one when I display my naked bod to my wife as an invitation to play.

Mine are engraved inside with the same inscription as I have inside my wedding band -- reminding me of my monogamous being. My wife thinks that's cool.

While a constriction ring usually fits just around the base of the penis this ring includes both the penis shaft and your scrotum.

You don this either with some body powder or in the shower. Pull some skin of your ball sack down through the ring, sliding one ball in then the second one. Then slide your flaccid penis down through the ring. Removal is the reverse action, pull out your penis first then ease out each ball, one at a time. If you erect with the ring on, the erection must be taken care of before the ring can be removed. (get help from a friendly partner or remember where you keep the bolt cutters.)

A properly sized ring is comfortable and elevates your balls just a bit. The Gear Essentials website has measuring tips and instructions. Ring thickness also interacts with diameter. My Summertime ring is 1/4" smaller than my Winter ring to allow for hanging loose during the summer months.
